I think the offseason has lulled people into a false sense of security. People must have forgotten the image of Brock on the floor writhing in pain after being crushed by multiple Seahawks players.

I know most fans want an edge rusher or WR but it was the lack of a run game that hurt this team in many games. Too many 3rd and longs. Not able to control the clock. Many blamed it on CMC's decline but some of it had to be on the O line and the fact that Kittle was out for several games. His blocking is crucial to the Niner running game.

It would not be a surprise if 49ers use one of the 4th round picks to draft a TE who is a plus blocker. Luke Farrell's ability in the run game is a question mark and Tonges is a pass catcher, not a blocker. You might see Stanford's Sam Roush in the 4th.

I don't understand Ferrell at all. Very odd fit for this team.

Maybe Kyle sees him as the eventual replacement for Juice?

I'm expecting more of the same next season with Kittle and CMC being a year older and the OL looking identical to what we've witnessed for the past few years.

The inability of the offense was this teams downfall vs Seattle. They needed to address the OL and as usual they failed to do so. Depending on what happens with Trent they might be substantially worse. I don't see how a fan can objectively look at what happened vs Seattle the final two games and think oh yeah we're good. It all starts up front. If you can't run block or pass block it doesn't matter if it's Purdy or Allen back there they won't be able to do s**t. Seattle absolutely embarrassed this offense from the players to the coaching staff.

Seattle was demolishing everyone down the stretch, not just the niners. Ask the patriots how the super bowl turned out for them.

Not having Kittle, Bosa, Williams, Warner, and Pearsall might have something to do with not being able to compete with them in the last matchup

Doesn't this just make it a more pressing issue? The Seahawks are in their division; they have to play them twice a year. If the 49ers are going to do anything next season, it all goes through the Seahawks--the team built and designed to own the 49ers.

None of these players play on the offensive line.

😂
If we can't run against Seattle we're done because we won't beat them with Purdy throwing 40 times.
If we can't beat Seattle we won't win the division.
If we don't win the division we won't make the Super Bowl because we won't win 3 playoff games on the road.

3.6 ypc and 54% of pressure rate for Purdy in 3 games against Seattle. We need a better O-line.

But Shanahan got receivers in free agency
Some of yall got some Seattle nuts deep down your throats, embarrassing
