One guy that flies under radar and never gets criticism is Bobby Turner. I have mad respect for the OG and his extensive body of work. The guy is a LEGEND. But every single time that the 49ers draft a RB, it's always at the ringing endorsement of Bobby Turner. There always seems to be a story about how Bobby Turner raved about that player as a prospect and kept in touch with the them throughout the entire process.

The guy is a legend; arguably the greatest RB coach ever. But he's 76 years old. There's a strong chance the game passed him by years ago. Just saying.

To be fair, if Kyle doesn't play anyone its hard to tell what these RBs are

Heard it reported numerous times that Kyle doesnt decide who plays.

He lets his position coaches handle the rotations etc.

It is direct evidence regarding who had draft power for this decision

KS and JL aren't naive and learned not to share this stuff anymore

Thats 4D chess, folks.

How shocking...you ignore the stuff that shows Kyle is a great HC and bring up a move that has nothing to do with Kyle as the HC.

Rams had a clear need at corner and a small window to win it all with Stafford close to retiring. We know McVay can't win anything without Stafford.

49ers weren't making that move for McDuffie. I'm sure you meant to post this in the Lynch thread and got lost.

And we know Kyle can't win anything (period).

Let's be honest, Seahawks and Rams are playing in a different league right now.

Sean McVay gets to a SB with Jared Goff and loses = McVay can't do anything without Stafford !

Kyle Shanahan gets to a SB with JimmyG / Brock and loses = you ignore the stuff that shows Kyle is a great head coach !

the spin is for real !

3 points with a #1 overall pick who many still list ahead of Purdy on QB rankings and only got to the SB on the back of the worst non DPI call ever.

Hell of a spin…

It was an outlier when it happened, not the norm. It had minimal significance then, it has none now.

NFL rigged that sh!t for LA / Shanny's son
People can think what they want but the reality is Lynch is the GM not Kyle and the only reason this team can make the playoffs is due to Kyle. The lack of talent on this team falls on GM.

Kyle is involved as well, especially in the earlier rounds. The best coaches who have a good relationship with the FO need to stay involved. Walsh was involved, BB was involved, McVay, Reid, all involved.

The few shortcomings that Kyle has is talent evaluation at times. He's not bad at it, obviously we've hit on some great picks during his tenure, but it hasn't been as good recently. Part of it imo is he goes too much culture setting players, instead of pure talent. He already built the culture here, so it's time draft more on pure talent, and let players like CMC, Purdy, Trent, Warner, Kittle, Lenoir, etc., put the "problematic" players in their place.
