Ball is on our 20 with 2:15 to go. They let the time clock run out to the 2 minute warning. 80 yards to score? Shouldn't they have run one play for positive yardage? If it's negative the Rams just may get the ball back with more time on the clock. Were we going for just 3 points? Ended up getting none. The killer instinct means run a play and go for the touchdown. You tell me.

They would've had the ball at the Rams 40 with 20 seconds to go and a timeout if Evans is able to catch the bad Purdy throw. Don't think it was poorly managed at all. Just didn't execute.

On the Rich Eisen show this morning, Steve Young said there are four top tier innovative coaches in the league and everyone else is trying to copy them.
Andy Reid
Shaun Payton
Sean McVay,

In a copy cat league, with parity being the goal, teams with the most innovative coaches will be the teams with the most consistently winning records.
I'm good with our guy.
Reid - product of BW and still needs Mahomes to run around to execute broken plays
Payton - adopted the WC offense by stealing all of BW tapes from the 49ers.. now he's stuck
McVay - Product of Shanahan and now is trying to create his own stupid 13 offense which removes your best players off the field

Kyle's 2-minute offense is designed to run the clock and prevent the other team from getting the ball back rather than to score.

Like it or not this is the correct answer.

You're handing it to him for saying something insanely wrong and stupid?
There have been 6 teams who have won SBs since Kyle became the 49ers HC. That means 26 teams haven't. So if his "major disappointment at the end" applies to not winning the SB then why aren't the 26 other teams mentioned in the same breath?
Because if it's not simply not winning the SB then he's just flat out wrong. 49ers record late in the season is considerably better than early in the season. The fact that they're also 9-5 in the playoffs under Kyle also says his point was incredibly dumb(as is typical for his takes)

I don't think that gets talked about enough. 3:29 left in the game, 3 timeouts and you get the ball on your 42 yard line.
B***h move which I hope hurts him in the locker room.

I'm ok with it in this game. You kind of have all the momentum after the big TD pass to Robinson and getting another stop on LA. We got the ball back to start the 2nd half.
The game plan really was dink and dunk outside of a couple of shots so long TD drive is unlikely. Kyle has done this before going into a half where we get the ball. He'll move the clock down to where we can control how much time they'd get the ball back if at all.
Sometimes it hurts us, sometimes it doesn't. Thankfully this time it didn't but I felt holding the momentum on our side was more important and the TD drive after halftime showed it was the right decision.

#49ers coach Kyle Shanahan might have taken some time to wrap his head around "time traveling" between the Bay and Australia. But he was happy with figuring it out upon return home.

No real surprise with his clock management he wouldn't understand that
