I've talked about this a bunch in this thread. While there are still philosophical things I disagree with him on that I hope he changes his mind on, for the most part I think Kyle has at least tried to adjust and learn from every big mistake he or the team has made in big losses. It just hasn't always worked out.

After losing in 2019 we did make the mistake of trying to run things back - made even worse by not bringing in Tom Brady(though I understand it was more about his age than talent. Until Brady did what he did 0 NFL QBs played well at age 43+)
After 2020 and seeing Jimmy struggle to stay healthy and play uninspired football they made the jump to get Lance(also tried to get Stafford and Aaron Rodgers) - clearly a terrible move in hindsight but they saw a problem with their team and tried to address it. Thankfully Brock Purdy fell in our laps and helped get rid of some of that stink.
After 2021 we overreacted to the inability to convert 2nd and 1 vs the Rams so we reached for TDP in the draft. I remember the main selling point to him was he almost always gets positive yards. Another fail but once again Kyle saw a problem and tried to address it.
After 2022 we brought in Sam Darnold and Brandon Allen to ensure we're 3 QBs deep
After 2023 we drafted Pearsall and Puni after having issues beating man coverage in the SB and having a terrible showing by Burford at G

2024 was obviously a totally different beast. I'm hopeful that we continue to build on what I think was a pretty good draft class in 2024(I'm still high on the 2023 class too) but we gotta keep building and I think Kyle seeing 2 division rivals win SBs under his watch will light a fire under his ass.

What part of the 2023 draft are you "high on"??

Ja'iyr Brown who can't tackle?
Jake Moody
Cameron Latu
Darrel Luter
Dee Winters

Sorry I had a brain fart. Just finished talking about 2023 the sentence before but I was obviously referring to the 2025 and 2024 classes respectively. 2023 draft was pure ass.

Not hard to see I made the mistake in the years if you actually read what I wrote.
Is the 24 draft even good?

Ricky stays hurt
Green is Good
Puni was f**king atrocious last year after being good his rookie year so who knows what the real Puni is.

Everyone else has zero business starting

No, it's mediocre at best, but people here think it was a home run

The bar isn't very high with Lynch and his drafts

It looked a lot better in 2024 than this past season. Don't think anyone said it's a home run lately.

Weird how you blame Puni when Brendel is the one that blocks air and get taken outta the play. But when Hennessy was in, the run game looked a helluva lot better.

Puni was hurt most of the year. Pretty sure he had the same injury as Pearsall and rushed back for the regular season.

It's pretty rare to see OLmen play well as rookies and then suddenly look much worse without a scheme change/age/injury.

Still believe Pearsall, Green and Puni will be big contributors for us moving forward. Obviously Mustafa and Guerendo took a big step back from their rookie year. Cowing wasted this whole season so he's a total question mark. Bethune looked like great depth for a 7th round pick.

I try not to judge rookies until year 3. Make or break year for a lot of those guys.

To be fair, Robinson was on another team when he was shot.
