The problem with Shany is this.

Positives:

* Shifts and motions.
* Innovative offense.

Negatives:

* Draft....
* Free Agency....
* Internal extensions (Ex - Aiyuk)....
* Trades (Trey Lance)....
* Ignore offensive line....
* Cap management and dead money....
* Down 8 points. 0 - 51 including playoffs since 2017....
* Routinely chokes in the big games. Against top competition. Can beat the softball teams....
* Always one of the most injured teams at key positions....

The question is do fancy shifts and motions outweigh all of that? I submit to you that they do not. Thus the problem. There is more to running a team and front office than shifts and motions. Shany would be better as an offensive coordinator or a coach with very limited front office say. He's a complete disaster at everything front office related that you need to win. Does he do good shifts and motions? You could make the argument. But does it outweigh the huge negatives that he also brings? I would say no by a long shot.

Just don't think you can ever win with him. He's so bad in the categories you really need to build a winning program. While fooling a lot of fans with the fancy, elaborate shifts and motions. Which are not everything in building a championship football team.

This is a joke list and you know it. Your stats aren't even accurate, least you can do is use google.

How do the 49ers have some of the best rosters in the NFL since Kyle took over if he can't draft, trade or bring in key players in free agency?

Honestly these posts are so ridiculously disingenuous I can't believe you make it with a straight face.

I'm only going to talk on the cap, and what he said is pure bs, wrong, the 49ers under Shanahan & Lynch have never had an issue with the salary cap, not once, they even decided to take on Deebo's dead money in 1yr, not cause they're cap hurt but because they knew they were fine to do it in 1 season.

The only thing he said that was accurate was the injury issue and who knows what the deal is with that. Clearly we have teams who practice a lot harder and don't get as injured and teams who practice a lot less and don't get injured as much.

Ironic that apparently Kyle Shanahan has 9 playoff wins in 9 seasons with the 49ers while not being able to draft, handle free agency and salary cap or trade for anyone good while not being able to win any meaningful games.

Yep, I agree on all of this, and the fact that Kyle got this team to 12 wins without Bosa, Warner, & Mykel is amazing, plus no Aiyuk at all, I just don't understand the hate, yeah we lost the 2 SB's, it sucks, but they are constantly in it, I'd rather be in it with a chance than be a cellar dweller every year, I have faith that they can/will turn the roster around to where it needs to be.

Beat me to it 9moon...

the ONE argument these Shannanygans will NEVAHHH win !! lol..

he didn't want the 2nd best QB that ever to play the game because he had a subpar year and stayed w/Grappy who he wasn't ALL IN...

THEN, he traded nearly the entire CAMELOT for a young prospect that reminded him of MAHOMES who he also DID NOT WANT after working him out and called him a FREAK OF NATURE....

that's our HC !!!!

we look forward to you joining the NFL and showing us how easy it is.

I think you missed his point.

He can not draft, sign FA's, re-signs bad players, horrible cap management, can't win important games, etc etc.

They have been to 4 NFCC and 2 SBs in that timeframe, and up to this year have lost to the SB champ each time.

With an absolutely s**tTY roster with only 6 players he inherited being on the first SB roster. He coached that s**t squad that was put together to a SB.

And proceeded to take that absolutely atrocious roster to be a top 5 winning percentage team over the next 4 seasons.

He has to be the greatest coach of all time.

Easy to miss clear points when you have your own to make and logic gets in the way of you making it.

These guys don't even realize the way they're talking they are literally making him sound like the greatest coach ever.

If you could guarantee that everyone here would sign up for that.

You can't so you all need to stop making points like that cuz they're based on nothing but hypotheticals.

Kyle has a proven track record of coming up short. He's 2-2 in NFC Championship games and 0-2 in the Super Bowl. 0-3 if you count the Falcons and that epic coaching choke job.

2-5 in the 5 biggest games of his career.

I will take the odds that he will never win a Super Bowl as the coach of this team. He couldn't win with a loaded super team so what evidence is there that he can build another super team and win it then?

Will we have to finish 4-12 so we can draft another Bosa? Will we luck into another Kittle in round 5, Warner in round 3, Deebo in round 2 etc. Will he be able to find a team desperate to trade away hall of fame players like Trent Williams and CMC for peanuts again because we will have to find those types of players soon with how old and injury prone our team is. Or do we wait another 10 years to maybe build that same super team so he can blow another 10 point lead in the 4th quarter?

Give me a young up and coming coach with a 0-0 record in big games vs the guy who has shown us 5 times he can't get it done when it counts.

So a divisional round game to get to the NFCCG isn't a big game?

Mike Tomlin has a SB win his 2nd year as a HC with a team he inherited from Bill Cowher, including a HOF level QB in Big Ben. In 19 years(10 more than Kyle) he has 8 playoff wins. That's one less than Kyle.

Your logic is Shanahan can't win big games and you all absolutely worship the coaches he lost to in those games, all with better QBs outside of the Eagles game where we were on QB3, then QB4 then QB3 with no arm.

Funny how when the 49ers find talent later in the draft it's luck and can't happen again but you have no problem praising other teams for doing that.

That is why most people see through your narratives. You can't keep the same energy for other teams. Just whining and complaining pushing logic aside to keep the whining going strong.

Including him "choking" the Falcons game away when the HC was a defensive guy and the team blew a 28-3 lead in the 3rd quarter is just the cherry on top of it all. Shanahan gets blame for that loss but there is 0 blame on Saleh for the collapse in 2019 or Wilks in having his defense fail to hold 3 leads in the 4th quarter and OT.

And yeah...let's look at all these up and coming coaches winning SBs lately. Maybe Mike MacDonald will get it done against an opponent nowhere close to the ones we've faced in our runs.
