Which goes to show any coach will do as long as it's not Kyle. Totally rational.
Ben Johnson
Mike McDonald
Mike Vrabel.
All 3 coaches whose name I brought up previously when asked who would you replace Shanahan with. All 3 got a resounding
from you guys citing Kyle's greatness and how those 3 could never live up to the hype. 2 of those 3 are in the SB, 1 of those 3 will have more SB than Kyle in 2 weeks, and the last one took his team as far as Kyle did…in his ROOKIE season as coach.
So yea…you guys are running out of excuses to protect Kyle.
...and you are running out of ways to attack him.
Maybe a new conversation, one that actually contributes to the board rather than the same tired narrative day-after-day, is in order.
But I didn't start this conversation. I just replied to the OP. I'm not opposed to shelving this back and forth for now, but it has to work both ways. Can't have dudes using buzzwords like "all the Kyle haters" etc then expect us to just 🤐

The Bucs and Eagles had no problem beating the so called modern day Goat.
I'm sure we'll get ours, too, soon enough, tho.
Certainly didn't hurt that both teams faced Mahomes with his starting OTs out with injury and the refs under the microscope so they actually called offensive holding.
Oh and the Bucs had the former modern day GOAT.
Oh and Shanny did not want then modern day GOAT.
He didn't want the former modern day GOAT or the current modern day GOAT 😝

Wow! The Broncos fired OC after just getting 7 points in AFCCG. No job is secure anymore if you mess up a big game no matter what the circumstances. But I do agree with this decision.

Sean Payton calls the plays. But good point we should fire equipment managers for special teams allowing a Kick Return. A water boy for our offense s**tting the bed.

Lombardi was just there to be Payton's emotional support coach. They're opening up the OC position so they can promote Webb.

And now Belichick was not voted into the Hall of Fame which is a statement suggesting it was not his coaching that won all of those Super Bowls but rather having Tom Brady. By failing as a coach later on at North Carolina, that really did not help his chances as it sort of exposed him as not being an elite coach.

The HOF is a sham. A 6 time SB winning coach and he doesn't get it. Doesn't get any more pathetic than that…

Well, he should not have taken that head coaching job at North Carolina NOR started dating that very young woman. He made poor choices.

To the victor belong the spoils. Arguing who is a better SB winning coach is irrelevant. What's relevant is do you consider a guy in his second year winning a SB better than a guy not winning one in 10 years ? And IMO 1 SB win >>>>> 2 SB losses, but something tells me you would disagree.
I.e. it's all about trashing Kyle and not holding all other coaches to one standard.
If Kyle gets fired and then wins SBs elsewhere like Reid are you gonna say you were wrong? Of course not. It'll be a "he just needed a change of scenery"

History is against Kyle on winning a ring. Most coaches win their rings within the 5th season. Only 1 coach has one won a ring past the 9th season(14th) which is Kyles current year iirc. 28 coaches have won their rings between the 1st and 5th season. Do what you want with that information...

I think it's 50/50 whether or not Kyle gets a ring. He had the right roster at the beginning of this season just too many injuries to our elite players. And last year it was McCaffrey who went down. He had 2 good chances but just came up a bit short. If Brock converts that 3rd and 5 at the end of regulation in the second super bowl, Kyie most likely has a ring if Moody makes the field goal. Just bad luck as if the football gods are working against Kyle.
That has been the biggest difference I have noticed between the SF Giants and SF Warriors as compared to the SF 49ers in the past 20 years. The 2 former teams came through in the clutch and finished whereas the SF 49ers just could not find a way to finish. My personal consolation prize is that I did witness the 49ers 5 other times finish even though it was awhile back. Some teams like Buffalo have never won in the Super Bowl era.
I think Kyle next year has a good chance of winning it all with players like Brock, McCaffrey, Bosa, Warner, Kittie, Lenoir, Pinero. But I do think if you can add a couple players like Jefferson and Crosby, all of a sudden you become the favorite.
