Agreed. Unless we want another decade long rebuild just to fall short again

We are on the verge of seeing 2 division coaches winning the Super Bowl in less time than Kyle, one of which is less than 2 years into a complete rebuild lol.

Something has to change.

Of course this year is a failure for them. Ask the players and coaches how they feel about not going to the SB

You're the one who is happy coming in 2nd place.

But like I said, at least their regime has a ring and that's more than Shanahan and Co. can say

When you play the Bengals in the SB you win. How it goes.

Complete coaching staff change, brand new QB? Loss of veteran players? How is that not a rebuild?

Had Geno last year. Wasn't a brand new qb. They moved on from a couple veteran receivers but signed Kupp.

Not a rebuild at all. Rebuilds are starting from scratch.

SHANNY must GO !!

It's that EZ... he'll never win one here.. never never Eva !!
The quality of the discussion on this forum is dogcrap. It's always the same old people parroting the same banal crap about firing everyone, cutting everyone, without providing coherent arguments justifying why we should do something as asinine as firing Kyle, for example.

And everyone gets bogged down arguing with these trolls leaving no room for more nuanced discussion.

Just throwing in my 2 cents, not like anyone cares because I'm not a loud and attention seeking user in here.

Bigger rebuild than Kyle and John have ever had to go through…..went from no coaching staff to Super Bowl in 2 seasons…..They will undoubtedly dog walk NE and come back next season as the odds on favorite again.

Where we gonna be? Still watching our high draft picks ride the bench, or worse…..on IR?

Big changes need to be made, hopefully the right decisions are made.

Fixed it for you.

Use the hide post feature. Simplifies the forum experience and eliminates a lot of the trolls and people just starved for attention.

That is truly ridiculous. The 49ers were a dumpster fire organization when Kyle took over. Minimal talent on either side of the ball.

The Seahawks were a fringe playoff team two seasons ago, and have a SB winning GM in their front office. We haven't had a legitimate GM in nearly two decades.

I wish the WZ had a upvote/downvote feature. It's kind of crazy they're still using a forum layout from almost 30 years ago lol.

Cant even wrap my head around the logic of it

No, you're 💯 right on that point.

I'm saying during their era, they haven't put everything together in that time frame. This franchise was way worse off than the 9-8 23 Hawks. Their moves during that time have been much better than we've seen in this past decade.

Nuanced discussion ? You mean discussing the same excuses for the past 9 seasons ? Let me summarize it fo you…

1) Hoyer's fault
2) Beathard's fault
3) JimmyG's / Vinovich's fault
4) COVID and injuries fault
5) Tarrt's fault
6) injuries fault
7) Wilks fault
8) injuries fault
9) injuries fault

bad drafts ? Lynch's fault
bad stadium / electric substation ? Jed's fault

am I missing anything in these nuanced discussions you guys been having for the last decade ?
