Uh, I don't make excuses for the trade and Lance selection. I have been consistently critical of it. It was a terrible decision. I was highly critical of Kyle's management of the QB position through '22.

I also don't agree Brock Purdy saved Kyle's job.

If you can't figure out the difference between these thoughts, I'm not sure how to help you.

Put Kittle and CMC in the slot. Jennings, Bourne and Moore out wide. Spread them out with an empty backfield and make linebackers cover Kittle and CMC with more space. Give him some open options.

Can you imagine the other team playing as poorly as Green Bay did in the second half? It takes two for those kind of playoff comebacks. With that said, we got a small taste of that in the NFCCG in 2023. 49ers fans remember that one.

Also, do you know the record of the other head coaches when facing that kind of deficit? Typically if you fall down that much, the only way you comeback is if the other team is totally inept in the second half.
