He outsmarted himself (just like some on the forum wanted Jauan to not score the TD).
In McDonald's case.. you are down more than a FG. You make sure you get that TD first and foremost! Don't worry about using up a perfect amount of time.
He didn't learn from his Lions days. I'm not sure if it's him or Campbell who screwed their young team against us in the playoffs. Passing up on FGs to go for it on 4th down, as if it were the regular season.
So yeah as much as I like Johnson (and I wanted him here), I'd call him out as well. We'll see if he'll learn from this, that luckily for him...happened in the regular season.

The hook and lateral was amateur college s**t. That is a play you save for desperation time.
Ironically, that play wasted so much time, it caused a desperation play where they choked, line up wrong, and had no timeouts to settle down. Complete boobery by Johnson down the stretch.
