The reason I have defended Brock when say, others were in the heat of the moment..calling him Jimmy G (like that is nuanced lol)..is because I did not forget what he has done and what he is capable of doing. We have seen what kind of qb he is. Not perfect, still young, still needing to clean up on things but naa, no way was I gunna say this dude was a flash in the pan. Because he isn't.
I believe, this season, he was dealing with injuries/toe..and that was part of the problem, also adjusting to new players and getting chemistry going, after losing Aiyuk and Deebo. And I do think he needed to get back into that chip on shoulder type mindset.
Does he try and do almost too much at times? Yes. Does he throw ints occasionally that are frustrating? Yes. But I don't write him off and say he is like Jimmy G..sorry but Jimmy, while he was good here..cannot hold a candle to BP, in several ways. Processing being just one of them.
I have never said Kyle's coaching is horrible..maybe after an SB loss or two lol. And it's not even the coaching, it's just making the occasional, dumb s**t decisions here and there that can be and have been costly.
I just said he is exceptional but makes mistakes..how is that saying his coaching is horrible..or maybe you cannot read my posts? Lol you like to put words into other ppl's mouths or maybe you don't understand what's being said idk. Yes, we defo have a COTY and that is great..still needs to clean up stuff.
You never hold Brock accountable for s**t. It's blind defense and being upset if anything not great is said about him. If he plays poorly then talk about him playing poorly instead of deflecting about it being whatever else outside of poor football.
Folks got upset because he had "The avengers" around him as to why he played well…then folks said well he doesn't have great players around him so he's not playing well. You can't have it both ways.
The criticism was justified because it was a down yr last yr for him, not just the beginning of the yr with the injury. He's playing much better and all I've done is praised him for that in the QB thread.
I come in here and it's the same whiners complaining about a game where they pt up 48 pts. It's f**king stupid. We got a COTY HC who's taken the replacements to the playoffs and a chance to get a 1 seed.
how long we gonna cry about lost SBs?? Get over it. We've talked about those games in detail a million times. Acting like the HC was the sole reason for those loses is a p***y ass take. It's unserious and there's plenty that led to it.
Tossing out "Double standards" takes about me is a joke if any of you have been paying attention to the QB thread.
