Half this fanbase is really mad that Kyle is having arguably his best season as HC lol

He's 78-48 (including playoffs) since 2019 despite having some of the worst injury luck in NFL history.

If he was HC of literally any other team with this resume, the usual suspects would be worshipping him and crying about how Jed can't hire a coach as good as him.

they dont remember Mike Nolan

Nolan was actually one of the better coaches compared to Erikkson, Kelly and Tomsula.

Yes, but if you listen to these guys, there is no difference between Nolan, Erickson, Singletary, Tomsula, Shanahan or Harbaugh, because there are only SB winning coaches and non-SB winning coaches. Actually, according to their logic, Shanahan and Harbaugh are probably worse HCs than those guys because losing the Super Bowl is worse than never making it.

None of those guys had 10 years and loaded rosters to win one. Harbaugh got shafted bc he hurt Jed's feelings. Marc Levy coached the Bills for 11 years and had 4 SB losses. Kyle has 2 to boot and we're praying for a life long contract.

How far we've fallen as a fan base

We are truly blessed to have Kyle as the head coach of this team. It's unfortunate that some of the fans on here won't truly appreciate this until he's retired or decides to move on.

Let's hope he remains the head coach of this team for another 10 years or so.

FFS, why do you hate our team so much?!

And then you're shocked when people think like you're rooting for the team to fail.

I'm not following

Shanahan being here for another 10 years or so would indicate we're winning with him. I doubt a HC would get another 10+ years without a SB being part of it as well.

So you're taking that as something that's bad. Logical thing is you're rooting for them to fail so Shanahan would be fired since that seems to be your priority.

Nolan was just as s**tty in hindsight. He talked a big game and wore a suit but listening to Alex Smith talk about those years it's pretty clear the guy was a terrible HC who thought he was something special when he wasn't.

His best attribute was having a really good GM(unfortunately one who liked his booze)

I can guarantee you that, as long as Jed keeps cashing in, Kyle's job will be secure.

Boast, have watched and been a fan of the Niners since the 70s. Thankful for Shanahan. For me, their HCs since that time rank like this:

Walsh
Seifert
Shanahan

Yeah you're right Harbaugh didn't have a loaded roster...

Just 7 All Pros and 2 more pro bowlers and the guy couldn't even find a lead in the SB vs a Joe Flacco led squad that was fairly mediocre on both sides of the ball all year long.

Keep coping buddy.

The 2012 roster wasn't loaded?

How'd the Bills do post Marv Levy? Should they fire McDermott? He hasn't even made a SB in 9 years.

Yeah its kinda funny how SB L's are the nail in the coffin for a HC accroding to the Rams fans, but that doesn't appy to Harubagh for some reason.

Let's not forget an illegal formation penalty on the first play of the game which meant Harbaugh had the team practice their opening play wrong for two weeks. A literal act of God had to save us from getting straight dogwalked in that game.

They aren't 49ers fans. They're closet Rams/Seahawks fans who desperately want us to fire Kyle so we can get back to Tomsula and Chip Kelly levels of suckitude.

It's the only thing that makes even a lick of sense because now they're actually contradicting themselves with the whole "you either win Super Bowls or you don't or even worse you LOSE Super Bowls!" by saying we should've kept Harbaugh… it's hilariously embarrassing. They think nobody can see through it.

Hey everyone this guy actually thinks it's worse to be 0-2 in the Super Bowl than be 0-1 in the Super Bowl.

Oh I didn't forget

I will likely never get over that SB loss. Broke our win streak and I legit was already celebrating the win in my head as soon as Baltimore took out the Patriots that AFCCG. I never expected us to lose that game...let alone require a blackout to even make the game interesting but never even feel a lead in that game.

Give Shanahan a team with virtually all 22 starters healthy for the SB and an opposing QB like Joe Flacco and he's not losing.

The only starters from week 1 who didn't play in that game were Mario Manningham(replaced by Randy Moss) and Alex Smith(benched for Colin Kaepernick, long before anyone figured out how to stop him)

Outcoached. Outclassed with a superior roster. Absolutely disgusting stuff.

Got fans trying to talk Joe Flacco up as an unstoppable force to justify ignoring losing to one of, if not the worst sb champion of this century.

Now it's the 2012 9ers didn't have talent.

McDermott will be fired within the next 2 seasons guaranteed if the Bills don't win it. Their fans aren't as fickle as ours, celebrating 2nd place trophies as crowning achievements.
