Teams 9ers have played have a .492 winning percentage.

That's a big part of what is happening. 1 in DONE in the playoffs. This team will get BOUNCED.

Except you're going against the past 20+ years of history. Every time the 49ers have made the playoffs, they've atleast made it to the NFC championship game the past 20+ years.

Chargers have played a .471 winning percentage. They getting bounced too?

Pats have played a .354 winning percentage.

Oooh, such profound wisdom. Glad you're on record for such a gutsy call.

-- I hope you're profoundly disappointed.

He's really just mad they outperformed his prediction of 7 wins.

Probably yes. I don't understand why this is hard for people to grasp but playing a team that has won 40% of their games vs playing a team that has won 80% of their games is easier.

So the team will go to the Playoffs?
I thought they weren't gonna? I mean that's what you and the other usual suspects kept saying for 6 months.

He has this team playing pretty good, disciplined football considering all the injuries and having to rely on so many second/third stringers and rookies on D.

Another clean game tonight with limited penalties: 2 for 6 yards.

I don't know why it's so hard to see what is really obvious. Shanahan and Saleh are doing a hell of a job this season considering all the injuries.

Curious what Kyle said too, I keep watching but can't figure it out lol his eyes looks like a stunned puppy aww lol. "For serious?" was a guess lol

I am just glad Brady wasn't announcing, he would have ripped him hard and talked about how great he is..even though Purdy whipped his ass

Coming into this year i thought we'd be lucky to be a playoff team considering the mini rebuild and how many rookies we'd have to play. Take into account the major injuries we had including the 2 most important players on the defense are out for the year, i'm kind of shocked we are 8-4.

You can't convince me there is any team out there that would be 8-4 if they had to deal with the same injuries we have had. It may not be pretty but Kyle has done a hell of a job this year.

Again, the teams we beat aside from the Rams where they should have won and Seattle where we were healthy are all terrible. The Jaguars and Texans D smoked us. Most teams backups are better than Carolina, AZ x 2, ATL, New Orleans and the Giants.

Coming into the year we had the easiest schedule in the league. A win is a win and 8-4 is nice but let's be real, I don't think this team right now is as good as their record. If Purdy plays the way he did last night in the last 3 weeks we will get destroyed.

Coming into the year? Things do change once the games are played. Not to say our schedule is the toughest, but it's no longer the easiest. You also do realize we've been playing mostly with backups? It's impressive what the 49ers have been able to do. You seem to acknowledge other teams backups but won't acknowledge that's what we have been playing with. And I'll just go ahead and call false on most teams backups being better than those teams. History has shown how those other teams perform when the injuries hit. We see how Cincinnati looks and how Baltimore did look with certain players out.

This "settle down" everyone energy is weird coming out of a win and a horrendous rash of injuries seemingly every game with an 8 - 4 record. It's like you're not even a fan or something.

You have to be a solid homer if you think this team is making it past the first round of the playoffs. Just be resigned to enjoying that at least it was an eventful season and we had something to look forward to every week just to get into the tournament. With that said this is not a good team, and I don't think having Bosa and Warner would have made much more of a difference.

off to next season when the faithful can clamor about "running it back" and expecting the team to go17-0 because Bosa and Warner will be back an that's all we're missing to be SB champions.
