Of those, only 4 are still on the team. Of those 4, one was a no brainer(bosa) and one was luck ( purdy). Of all of them, only one was on the field yesterday. THREE offensive probowlers in 9 f**king years. Disgusting.

And yet, they've been to two Super Bowls in that period with a legitimate chance of winning each. So, what is the higher marker, having Pro Bowlers or getting to Super Bowl?

Jim fassel, jeff fisher and lovie smith went to superbowls. Getting to a superbowl means nothing. The team in its current state is absolute s**t with aging veterans and s**tty rookies.
Okay, so you would rather have a roster of Pro bowlers then get to the Super Bowl with a chance to win, got it. At least we all know what your priorities are now.

The priority is to win a superbowl. You can't win a superbowl if you don't draft well. The niners do not draft well. They failed to buuld a quality roster.

Just look at the rams and seahawks drafts. It's embarrassing in comparison.

We have to wait until its our turn to win a super bowl again. The league has not determined that it is our turn yet.

It would actually be WINNING a Super Bowl.

These suggestions for replacing Kyle are ridiculous. He's considered one of the top HCs in the league by nearly everyone connected to football.

In 8 years that Shanahan has been here he has a winning record in 4 years. The way it is going we will have another losing record this year.

76 wins, 66 losses
.535 winning percentage

2017: 6-10
2018: 4-12
2019: 13-3 NFC Champions
2020: 6-10
2021: 10-7 Lost NFC Championship game
2022: 13-4 Lost NFC Championship game
2023: 12-5 NFC Champions
2024: 6-11
2025: 6-4

Dam!

You guys are ruining my mourning LOL
Lol we are not going go 6-10 this year
Next 4 games are vs AZ/Browns/Titans and Panthers. Get a f**king grip Kyle Hater Club.

ya'll are gonna be so butt hurt when we win 10 games with half a roster.

Ya'll are so unserious and lazy with the whiny takes….trying so incredibly hard to pretend that Kyle is a bad coach or that s**t wasn't f**king horrible before he got here. You should do us all a favor and go root for another team.

Anyone thinking that a HC going to at least the NFCC in 50% of the seasons he's been a HC is bad, is not a serious person.

The discussion here is not about Kyle being a good / bad HC, is about whether he has what it takes to win a Super Bowl.

My answer: no

They are 6-4 currently, and 3-1 in their division. That is a winning record, isn't it? So how can you say "the way it is going we will have another losing record this year" ?

Do you realize how insane you sound saying this?

As a reminder Kyle and John inherited a roster that was 27th in points scored/31st in yards gained on offense in 2016 and a defense that was 32nd in points and yards given up...and one of the worst run defenses in NFL history. Like search worst run defense in NFL history and 49ers will be mentioned.

They had the team in the SB 3 years later. They had them in the SB again 4 years later.

They had 7 players who were on both teams.

Not only were they able to rebuild a horrible roster on both sides of the ball and get them into the SB in 3 seasons but they were able to do it again with a lot of different players.

They are attempting to do it again.

It's absolutely silly to claim they don't know how to build a quality roster. They've done it several times now.

When he has a healthy team he makes a deep playoff run. This is a fact.

How good would the Rams be yesterday if they had to start Jimmy G and were missing their 2 best defensive players and a couple dlineman?
