Let's blame having to play against Mahomes and Stafford as the reasons why we lost, had nothing to do with Kyle
Shelled up? You were literally b***hing about him not running it enough…now he shelled up?
Let's just ignore the actual X's and O's in that game and ignore the missed plays by Jimmy or the knocked down passes by Chris Jones and blame Shanahan…
This is why your posts come off as trolling. Just outlandish takes based on nothing real.
Nothing real ? It's a better take than the "not Kyle's fault" that some of you spew around. You give up 21 points in the last 7.5 minutes of a SB that you're leading by 10, and your hot take is it's everyone's fault except Kyle Shanahan's. Talk about trolling…
You literally talk in circles as long as it leads back to Shanahan is at fault for everything.
I didn't say Kyle was blameless but his playcalling was not a problem. He can't make the plays for the players. The plays he dialed up were there to win the game. He's also not responsible for KC getting away with obvious holds on our pass rush.
These are absurd reasons to claim Kyle went "full retrd"
All you're doing is showing your takes are casual takes and you don't really know what you're talking about. Nothing wrong with it casual fans are still fans but when you're busy acting like anyone disagreeing with you are just making excuses then you're not here for serious discussions and just pushing your hot takes.

I don't mind criticism, just repeating the same childish BS is why this site has gone downhill

Who was favored going into the first SB?
YOU'RE going out of the point you were making.. read your post... Team with Mahomes will be better than Team with Grappy, was it?
that's why I gave you the Eli and Foles examples...
I believe KC was favored by 1 point or 2 if not mistaken... and that's only because of the QB... but we had the better team.... that point spread was that close because Andy has yet to win a Super Bowl while Shanny was wayyyyyy overrateddddd... Make no mistake, we had the better team..

But blame it on Grappy that KC came back and beat us?
We were (small) underdogs. It was a closely contested game where their key players made the necessary plays to win. It was disappointing, but not surprising.
Sorry bro, but I've seen WEAKER teams winning the Super Bowl because of their HC and the game planning... Look at how Bill Parcells used the SLOW PHASE OFFENSE vs the K-Gun.. if you were to watch that game again, you can tell how frustrated Buffalo was for not able to score the way they were able to..
While KC had the better QB by all means, WE had the better overall teams in both Super Bowls... but they had ANDY and we had SHANNY...
They also had Steve Spagnulo…you know the reason Brady lost in 2007 to the Giants?
And the 49ers didn't have the better overall team in 2019 when you have a major difference in QB play. We had the better defense and it showed until the refs decided they weren't going to call holding and only flag 49ers for post snap penalties.
Thats not on coaching.
INSERTING Mostert in the 2nd QTR isn't coaching??
brah, even HONEY BADGER stated that they were so glad that we stopped running the ball..
.. and yes, Brady and the Pats lost to the Giants because of the Giants COACHING staff's game planning... NO ?? Wacha gonna say now, after I used your SPAGNULO point??
Ain't the COACHING the reason why the Giants won by keeping the game close, getting Brady to the ground as much as possible, giving the team a chance to win??

brah... the SHANNANIGANS will continue to point fingers to either the ref, the player, the pass, the run, the blocking, the fumble.. but giving up 10 points the last 10 minutes or less will never be part of Shanny's ideocracy..
Shanny went with Grappy over the 2nd best QB to ever play the game, then had a 2nd chance with Stafford but still stayed w/Jimmy so that he can either get all the credit if he wins the SB or blame Jimmy as his QB.

In an appearance on 'Third and Long,' Ward revealed that the 49ers played right into the Chiefs' defense's hands when they abandoned their run game in the fourth quarter.
"The game plan was to put the ball in Jimmy (Garoppolo)'s hands, man," Ward told Third and Long host, 49ers defensive tackle Arik Armstead. "I hate to say this. Our game plan was to put the ball in Jimmy's hands, but Kyle Shanahan, he was just calling run after run. For some reason in the fourth quarter they stopped running the ball, and we kinda took over a little bit.
His own player puts the onus on Kyle for changing the game plan, but yea let's blame the players because "coaches don't play". Laughable…

Kyle's doing a great job so far at least.
And top be honest, so was Lynch. The best possible outcome for this season was to return to being a contender via a strong draft class that showed promise while all our key players stayed healthy. Unfortunately, the latter hasn't happened.
It sucks.. Just our luck.. but if the majority of the below were not hurt, you could probably argue we might've actually been the top team in the NFC:
QB PURDY
TE KITTLE
WR PEARSALL
WR JENNINGS
WR AIYUK
LG BARTCH
LB WARNER
DE BOSA
S MUSTAPHA
And that's not even counting injuries to the depth guys like WR Cowing/Watkins, DE Gross Matos, OG Burford, and DTs West and Davis are out there trying to play with clubs, which I'm sure severely limits you.
So yeah.. we've had insane adversity.
Kyle, Saleh, and Lynch are doing well to keep us fighting.

My gosh do you double check anything you post?
Ward was on the Chiefs so your "his own player" comment is useless. Second I don't care what Ward or Mathieu had to say, obviously they won the game so they can talk about what they wanted to see happen.
How about you go back and actually look at what happened?
Here were the 4th quarter drives.
1st drive: 49ers 20 Chiefs 10
1st and 10 - Mostert run for 6 yards
2nd and 4 - Kittle 12 yard reception
1st and 10 - Moster run for 1 yard
2nd and 9 - incomplete pass - Jimmy audibles out of the run then misfires to Deebo
3rd and 9 - false start
3rd and 14 - Jimmy run for 3 yards
2nd drive: 49ers 20 Chiefs 17
1st and 10 - Mostert 5 yard run
2nd and 5 - Incomplete pass - Chris Jones bats down pass at the line
3rd and 5 - incomplete pass - Jimmy G gets hit in the head with no call
Chiefs have the lead the rest of the game.
So the whole narrative that Shanahan stopped running the ball is just as stupid as it was in the 2nd SB when you actually look at what happened.
There were really only 2 downs on both of those drives in the 4th quarter where you can make a case the 49ers should've ran the ball and those were the 2nd downs. One was a run play that Jimmy canned out of and the other was a wide open play to be made ruined by Jones making a big time play.
I'm pretty confident had Chris Jones not knocked that pass down or the refs called roughing the passer like they should have we wouldn't be hearing Ward and Mathieu talking about how thankful they were we stopped running.

I'm sorry. I didn't anything past that. A player in the GAME is telling you what their game plan was against Kyle Shanahan, and how Kyle played into what they wanted him to do by getting away from what was working. Your response ? His comments are useless.
