So basically the only way Jalen is better is when he has elite weapons then lol, what a cop out, in no way is Hurts better than Brock, sorry just don't see it, I'll also say Brock is better than Herbert, who has thrown I believe 7 INTs in 2 playoff games, both losses, just don't see how Jim Harbaugh winning a title with Herbert at QB but that;s me.

which is nonsense because hurts had smith, aj brown, barkley, and goedert all healthy. purdy making s**t work with the B & C team

Not to mention that Hurts has a better OL than Brock does.

Connor Orr, who writes for SI but isn't a tool, like Cohn, was talking with Albert Breer or someone on a podcast and had kind of an interesting take on Hurts. With all of the hoopla surrounding the Eagles OC, Orr postulated the theory that it wasn't all his fault. He suggested that one of the reasons the Eagles offense has been so basic is that Hurts has some real limitations in reading defenses pre and post snap. If there is a lot of motion in the offense designed to expose what look the defense is in, he doesn't know how to interpret their adjustments, so they have to keep things simple for him to process so he feels more comfortable.

Now, I don't recall how Orr came to this conclusion, whether it was his own take or had heard it from people around the league, but I thought it was interesting. All that being said, Hurts isn't better than Brock. His arm might be a little better, and he's a good athlete, but I can't really think of a situation I would prefer him in over our guy, except maybe in running the Tush-Push.

Man, nothing more impressive than Kyle's remarks about Fred in his after practice presser today.
I think it's easy to miss a lot of the things that makes him so good that are not related to the coaching side. As much as he's been criticized over the years, let there be no doubt about it, he's really handled his teams great when it comes to understanding and relating to individual situations. Listening to him this week and how's he's handled all the adversity has been awesome, he's grown into a great leader.

I believe that is true to an extent. But when they have a good OC who can scheme things for him (even if it is simple concepts), they were able to do enough to cover his weakness. The roster has been stacked so that also help him. I think he will always be overrated because he is a Super Bowl winning QB.

i did. he also says it's Jalen who wants that simplistic offense. doesn't want anything complex.

ive never been impressed with Jalen Hurts. when talking with my Eagle fan friends, i refer to him as Hero Ball.
