Well it would have ended worse than the reality because they probably wouldn't have drafted Purdy.
Good luck going to the Superbowl with our wonderful O-Line two years ago with Mac.
Purdy being able to scramble won the games against the Packers and the Lions.
I'm not saying Mac is bad, on the contrary he's a good QB. But I have a hard time thinking you can win 3 or 4 PO games with a non mobile QB in today's NFL.

Mac seems pretty good with a worse O line than the SB year. We would have been fine.

He was trying to get room.

What would you have said if we gave up a safety there.

I was wondering if that was going to be Kyle's decision. They'd still be up by 1, then be able to free kick it deep into Rams territory with 0 time outs left...but still way too much time on the clock.
Kyle coaching like he was in 2017 with a field full of scrubs. Maybe this is good for Kyle. It helps him keep things simple.
I love you Shanny

Because guys were open. What happens when they aren't open and Mac has to make plays off schedule like Brock had to do?

The thing is that they might be open quite often because of the better arm.

You can't play for a safety there. First of all safety doesn't keep the clock moving or force Rams to take a timeout. Now if you're advocating doing it on 4th down instead of punting it's still a massive risk cuz now a FG beats you vs going into OT.

Do you think receivers get open because of QB arm strength? BTW Mac's arm isn't exactly that much better than Brock's.

Brock goes off schedule sometimes when he doesn't need to and it has been bad results when he has done that over the last year with the skill players not here.

Hand picked scrubs.

This is the team that he and Lynch built. Injuries happen, this is why they have hand selected back up players as well. I'm just glad it's working out, winning feels better than losing LOL

Imagine coming in here and whining after a win like that… are you allergic to joy or something? Why even watch football?

He gets joy in being right. And since he's been saying fire Kyle and that Kyle's horrible well he's been dead wrong since then. Therefore no joy. He doesn't root for the 49ers he roots to be right.

Our receivers room is better this year.
