Man Walsh would've been 90, so idk if he could've processed watching football today, but imagine what he would have to say about the current 49ers with Kyle's scheme and play calling along with how Brock is playing? I think he would've fell in love.

He's still alive in the Bahamas. He has a secret lab there where he created Brock Purdy.
Lately he's been chilling with 2pac, watching Brock ball out.

a lot of great data on how every team has looked in multiple phases of the game through the first 13 weeks of the season. Pretty impressive but still a lot we can improve upon.

I find he's pretty insightful. But he's pretty intense in his delivery,

Agree.
Or a brutal TE blocker so Kittle can go out on more routes.

Kind of curious, for anyone that has seen Shanahan's offenses with other teams, or remembers what it was like in 2017, 2018...
I was just thinking about how Shanahan caters scheme to personnel. Under the current 49ers, he just has a stable of pass-catchers that can just run after the catch... versatile chess pieces in Kittle and Juice. So not a surprise that we have heavy pre-snap motion, and plays designed to get guys open in space.
What was it like with Atlanta and other stops? In 2017, 2018 when he was still gathering players?
As I understand it, Atlanta also ran a zone running scheme and thrived off play action? But they're different in that Matt Ryan is a more classic dropback passer that can make all the throws superlatively? And they had a Julio Jones.
