With all the talent we have, it'd be a major question mark of why we can't win it. But whenever these discussions happen, I'm always like "Who would you replace Shanahan with?"

You never know if a great HC is going to be Marty Schottenheimer or Bill Cowher.

Winning the big one has far to do with players than coaching by and large.

There has never been a good answer to that question. Not in 2017 and certainly not now. I'm glad we are past the organization cannibalizing itself when we come up short. My dilemma is how can we keep drafting at the rate we have drafted at as well as keeping our top guys.

Kyle needs to win one to get that stress off of him, to prove he can. Right now he has the same narrative that Reid did for a long long time - great coach, play caller, schemer etc but can't seem to win the big one.

i feel like once Kyle wins it all, whjch should be this year, he will feel a lot better and lot more loose (in a good way).

Agree, and I'll just add that a Generational Player on the team helps.

Kyle will only be 63 when/if Brock retires after a 20 year NFL career.

I'd say we played like a B- overall type of game and still put up like 500 yards of offense lol...

the only one with a cooler seat around the league is Andy reid

I'd say John Harbaugh completes the "ice cold seat" trio.

add in Brandon Staley to complete the Mt Rushmore of cold seats.

Winning the big one vexes coaches throughout history. Combination of luck (health etc) and skill.

that said there is literally no excuse for the niners this year. Stacked as can be in this salary cap era.

#1 seed will give me more confidence.

Not only that but really has to do with health, which I get is part of the game, but it's just been killing us in the years past.

idk how Staley still has that job, he's horrible, better DC than HC, I feel bad for Herbert, being ruined, no chance at playoffs, now injured with a finger injury.
So apparently Kyle promised a xmas gift to whoever was able to get under DK's skin yesterday. No wonder them boys were fighting over turnovers when Lock was targeting DK. 🤣 Fred Litterally stole an INT from the rook which is what caused the scrum at the end. The rook Brown would have had two on the day.

It's Michael Silver saying it soooo I'm guessing he pulled it outta his ass and is causing drama.
