Looking at the Eagles' long list of FAs coupled with their salary cap and imminent Hurts' contract, it looks like the 49ers are well positioned to be the top dog in the NFC next season.

Yup. I said that when we lost. They had their chance and then on a long 3rd down and forever right at games end they get a horse s**t call that allowed KC to be the last ones with the ball. Karma. Because they got a LOT of 3rd and long calls vs us that kept our defense on the field when everyone knew we were down to no QB
As Nick Siriani said now they gotta pay "Michael Jordan".

Meanwhile we have 2 young studs on cheap enough deals to keep our superstars for the next few years. Watching Mahomes in these playoffs should reiterate the need for a great backup in this league. I'm certainly not wishing anything on him, but he isn't always going to be able to play through those injuries. At some point the Chiefs will have to show their backup, just like Philly did, and neither are in as good of shape as we are.
