you're first comment about who Baalke drafted and tying it in with the new FO shouldn't and doesn't apply to what I said....if you want to say they didn't draft a QB at 2 overall that that's fair. They did draft a QB in the 3rd rd and I'd bet money they will either draft or pay for a new qb this off season.

to say there is no indication that they will be improving the QB position is a bit silly after 7 months of a new FO.

It's going to drive a lot of posters off this site. I'm already close because it's not just this thread it's in just about every thread.

It is a broken record....I'm part of it which needs to stop lol

I think best thing to do is let the posters who want to throw out these overblown narratives complain until their blue in the face.there gonna do it regardless

It's the same people that it always is on everythread
non-49er fans

If you don't think Jed is the best owner int he NFL, you must not be a 49er fan.

Throw in a better QB and this team is at least 3-2 just like the Rams and Seahawks.

stop worrying about wins and loses yr one into a massive rebuild. How much did you blame Walsh his first yr going 2-14? This team if stupid young and so is the HC everyone needs to get some seasoning.

Walsh did not add a QB until he had most of the other pieces in place. I watched that team be built. A better QB will not help this current bunch. Didn't Hoyer have several 300 yard plus games?
Walsh drafted Joe Montana in 1979 and already had Steve DeBerg (San Jose State) from Day 1. DeBerg, Walsh's starter in 1979, finished his 22 year NFL career with 34,000 yards passing. DeBerg finished 1979 with 3600 yards passing and not surprisingly, the offense scored 5.5 more points per game than 1978. Hoyer couldn't hold his jock.

That's all on the coaches.

Of course you'd think that....

Well, because it's true.

Niners are the only team in the top five of penalties with a losing record. SF, NE, KC, Sea and Pit....I wonder why that is.
Because we aren't good enough to make up for our dumb mistakes.

Strange that all of those teams are infinitely more talented than us, huh?
What I find strange is that we were 7th in fewest penalties last season and now lead the league with the most.

Careful, I got called a liar by a few posters in here when I pointed out that the 49ers led the league in penalties last week.

1-4. big difference.

You're saying the team is better this year, the record has yet to reflect that. All that matters are wins in the end.

lol. do you not watch football games? or did you just forget about how bad it was last year. we were getting blown out each and every game and gashed for 100+ rushing yards every game. every loss was like that. now, every loss is 3-5 points, with a much improved run defense. you can't just look at wins and losses. the losses should tell you we are only a couple players away from consistently winning. you can'y just look at the record. because you'll be forever clueless about football.

Lol the blowouts will come just wait, we've played the easy part of our schedule.

ikr? that rams game was grim man. got blown out so hard. our 2015-16 squad would've easily kept up with their offense and made it close to the end and won

Thats new lol

No...what's being said is that penalites aren't a primary function of the coach. They never have been, but I know it sounds good to say to show that pseudo-football knowledge.

Penalties and coaching aren't primarily related? Agree to disagree.

Hoyer is good enough to rack up garbage time yards once we are behind.

Well, apparently you don't. Lost by 7 to the Cowboys, lost by 3 to the Cards, lost by 7 to the Dolphins, lost by 6 to the Jets and lost by 2 to the Seahawks.

what was our run defense ranked last year again? guess there's no improvement in that department just because we havent won a game yet lol.
Btw its equally asinine to bring up walshs start in regards to kyles 1st year as it is to want him fired. Neither is living in any sort of reality.
