49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

KS was a good enough hire to never get away from without wasting tens of millions of dollars, a decade of frustrations, and many close calls, with no real chance to be the best.... just like his chosen QB.... you can't recover from this type of tragedy a second time.... He's devastated two fan bases so far.

Who listens to that trash? Might as well watch Jerry springer

He is correct 100%. Listen to it. Both him and Shannon Sharp say it and Skip Bayless too.

It fits your anti-49er agenda. Shanahan lynch rebuilt this team from ground up and all of a sudden they need to be fired according to you. Gtfoh

How can anyone disagree with what they basically said. Up 2 scores in the 4th Quarter and we just picked off Mahomes only to completely go away from our bread and butter, the thing that got us to the Superbowl...the Run.

You are correct 100%. I agree completely.

I don't know how many people forgot but the 49ers INTERCEPTED Mahomes up 10 in the 4th quarter. That should have been game over. Shanahan weaseled away what may be his only super bowl opportunity.

This bears repeating. I was watching game film w/ Bill Walsh, a win. Near the end w/the lead he ran and ran. I asked why. He said, 'That's football.' Kyle never got the memo.

For once he is right!
I still love Shanny, but man, that 4th quarter was one of the biggest letdowns in team history. Why did we not run the ball? This one is going to hurt for a while. I truly hope the team can bounce back from this, but it's going to linger for a long time.

Going pass heavy in the 4th is an epic fail!

Stfu man. The Cohan's ate the biggest shanahan haters and you posting his tweet shows your anti-49er agenda. You guys want us to be back in the dark ages without shanahan. I am done with you little b***h

We don't have time to sulk. We need to be ready for next season reload. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.that should be the mentality. Destroy the rest of the league and all of the doubters and haters.

The point is you have one of the best running attacks in history. RUN THE BALL AND YOU WIN THE GAME, SIMPLE. Ravens SB 1st and goal on the 5 and what did we do with one of the best RBs in history? Throw fades to the back of the end zone WTF!?

Greg Roman: I cost the Niners a Super Bowl victory by throwing the ball.

Kyle Shannahan: Hold my beer. I can top that!

I wish I had your optimism! I've lived through the good years and the bad years. Those bad years made you appreciate what we had in the past. These opportunities to win a SB are much more rare these days, so losing like we did hurts even more. This years team was special, and we should have won that game to solidify that. Now this team will just be remembered as a footnote in Mahomes quest to be the greatest QB ever.

In today's NFL, there are no guarantees (unless you are blessed to be in a horrible division like the Patriots). Our division is going to be tougher next year, not to mention the rest of the conference. We will also lose a few key players, especially on defense. We could very well be a WC team next year.
