Stop gap not FQB.
This.. people need to get that the vets being brought up are not the long term answer smh
Better than talking about Kap.

I live in Chicago and watch the bears every week, I can't believe Cutler is an option. That dude doesn't have what it takes from a leadership standpoint

How dumb do we look if we pass on Watson and he turns into a great QB, he's played spectacularly in 2 national championship games. What more do we need to see

If the notification I got a couple weeks ago is true, we're either going to get Cousins, Garap, or Cutler, with the first two being preferred.
Schaub is an obvious choice for second-string.

If he covets a rookie, he will make the necessary moves to get him. If It's Jimmy G then he will make the necessary moves to get him. If it's none of the above, then he will get that "bridge" QB and eithergo after Cousins next year or draft one next year. In any case, I trust that he knows what he's looking at and knows what he needs out of the postion and weather this or that QB can deliver what the coach wants. My faith is in KS to make the 'right' choice for the future of the franchise.
This. I'm rolling with whomever Shanahan brings in at QB because that is his deal so will wait to see what he does there.

I think #2 and #3 is too high for Garoppolo, but #12 is perfect. My money is on Cleveland landing him with that #12 pick.
Agree
If we're lucky Trubisky or Watson make their draft stock soar so Cleveland drafts one of them at #1 overall allowing us to draft Garrett at #2 and let us trade our 2nd rounder plus a conditional pick next year for Jimmy.
We could only wish

Agree eastie.
IMO, KS & Lycnh will not make a hasty decision.
They know they have time and solid gold w/a #2 pick + cap $$.

Yup, I don't hate Watson but not at 2
