Spoon, Taylor I guess. But Thomas, Foster, Kittle you can argue were a need for what we wanted to do in certain packages and push starters going forward.

I agree that with the projected talent around rounds 2-3 we want more picks in that area.

However it depends who's on the board. The QB's could push top 5 talent down to us, there's a big drop off from those elite guys to the guys who'll be available in the 20's onwards.

Would not surprise me if they go LT in the draft. Have to have a contingency to replace Staley some time. And protecting Jimmy's blindside is a must present and future.

Agreed. There should be a great player at 9/10 so if someone wants our pick, you better pay up!

Heard a podcast today talking about that very thing...drafting an athletic T who can start out as a zone G and move to T later and similar concept to C who can play G and replace Kilgore down the road. In fact, they even said Jensen might still be an option in FA because of this...comes to us to play G until Kilgore is done.

The mocks and boards I've been reading are driving me crazy! McShay has the niners passing on OG Nelson, LB R Smith, OLB Edmunds, and DE Davenport to take CB Ward. Not sure that is believable but perhaps I just am under rating Ward.

This is my hope. now there are a few who think we are just fine with how we are now but thats beside the point. we need multiple picks to help fill multiple needs on our team
