QB Hoyer
RB Hyde
RB Hightower
FB Juszczyk
WR Garcon
WR Kerley
WR Goodwin
WR Robinson
TE McDonald
TE Paulsen
TE Celek
C Zuttah
C Kilgore (Would be primary Interior lineman backup)
OG Garnett
OG Beadles
OT Staley
OT Brown
OT Gilliam
DE Armstead
DE Blair
LEO Lynch (Not a lock, but if he comes in, in shape, he should make it)
LEO Carradine
DT Buckner
DT Dial
NT Mitchell
OLB Smith
OLB Brooks (Not guaranteed, if we draft someone we could cut him, since he has no guaranteed money)
OLB Harold
OLB Armstrong
OLB Watson (Not a lock byt he makes it for STs IMO)
MLB Bowman
MLB Coyle (Not a lock but he makes it IMO for STs)
CB Robinson
CB Johnson
CB Williams (Not a lock, but I think he makes it)
CB Redmond
S Reid
S Tartt
S Jones
DB Ward (Not sure where he plays, CB or FS)
PK Gould
P Pinion
LS Nelson

My feelings are on gamedays, Zuttah, Kilgore, Beadles, Garnett, Staley, Brown, and Gilliam would be the regular 7 to dress, and I think that's a solid 7 OL to have right now.

Obviously we need another QB, we will draft one, not sure what round though.

Would like to see us get a WR in the first 3 rounds, so deep, I like a lot of guys that could be #1 caliber guys with more experience.

I also wouldn't mind a 2nd WR drafted, maybe in rd 4, I'm not sure what Ellington and Rogers have coming off injuries. And guys like Carter, Smelter, and Harper are unproven, or mainly camp bodies IMO.

If we keep a 4th TE, it's between Bell and Hamm.

Backup OL, we could draft a OG or a developmental OL, I don't see this as a need on day 1 or 2.

We need a EDGE rusher badly, maybe a OLB, a CB for sure, and S.

So yeah can't wait for the draft to get here, super pumped.

Garçon,Goodwin,Kerley,Aldrick Robinson is a decent 4... one of the guys above along with Burbridge have a shot at the #6 WR spot. I think one quality WR by round 3 is a must. If not a WR then TE if Shanny doesn't care that much about the WR class and wants to add more of a 2-TE explosive wrinkle in his offense by having McDonald pair with Njoku/Engram/Hodges.

Agreed. Big-bodied...either at the ZWR or TE this year.

Mike Williams, Josh Malone, Evan Engram or Bucky Hodges & I will be happy

AB, take Zuttah and Gilliam off that OL, and replace with Martin and Pears....and just based on those two guys alone, the OL got incredibly better. Matter of fact , addition by deletion....just removing Martin and Pears with NO replacements, made us worlds better. The Zut and Gilliam was just whipped cream on the sundae.

LMAO. You guys sure keep me on my toes...love it.

Yeah that list is very telling. I used MadDog's board so you can get an ideas where these picks might go in relationship to our draft picks.
Update, unconfirmed(trying to confirm it), but Garrett Celek's base salary may have became fully guaranteed on April 1, making him a lock to make the team, unless they trade him, which will be hard, we'd have to also give up a pick just to get a pick back, like we did with Derek Carrier, and how Baltimore did with Zuttah(w Us) and Jernigan.

Package with a 7th and get a 6th... we take a TE in the fourth like Bucky Hodges's or even red shirt Jake Butt. McD,Bell,Paulsen,Hamm and Juice in some packages is solid.

Hope you don't mind NC, I was curious about something. Once you posted all of the pre-draft visits, I was wondering if there was anything we could "glean" from the list, if organized by our draft picks. I think it's somewhat interesting (take it for what it's worth) - does it mean anything? Probably not lol.

Looks like a list of who we've looked at for #2:

1 Myles Garrett Edge
2 Solomon Thomas DT
3 Malik Hooker S
4 Marshon Lattimore CB
5 Jamal Adams S
6 Mitchell Trubisky QB
7 Patrick Mahomes QB
8 Leonard Fournette RB

Looks like a list if we can trade down:

9 Christian McCaffrey RB
11 Jonathan Allen DT
12 Deshaun Watson QB
15 Corey Davis WR
16 Reuben Foster LB
18 Mike Williams WR
22 Derek Barnett Edge
23 Cam Robinson OT

Looks like who we think might be there at 34:

27 Kevin King CB
28 Chidobe Awuzie CB
31 Obi Melifonwu S
32 TJ Watt Edge
33 Jabrill Peppers S
34 Davis Webb QB
35 Dalvin Cook RB
40 Jordan Willis Edge
42 Budda Baker S
44 Alvin Kamara RB
45 DeShone Kizer QB

So far, it's basically been just a set of good players. But for 66, maybe it looks a little more "targeted"? (3 OL, 2 CB):

51 Ahkello Witherspoon CB
66 Dion Dawkins G
69 Dan Feeney G
70 Julie'n Davenport OT
72 Tim Williams Edge
77 Kareem Hunt RB
78 Carlos Henderson WR
87 Teez Tabor CB
88 Nathan Peterman QB

For pick 109 (2 more OL):

93 Chad Hansen WR
99 Nico Siragusa G
110 David Sharpe OT
117 Cam Sutton CB
118 Elijah Lee LB

For picks 143/146 (heh):

123 George Kittle TE
135 Joshua Dobbs QB
142 Jerod Evans QB
157 Jordan Leggett TE

For pick 161 (OL x 2 again, and Edge):

165 Jessamen Dunker G
180 Keion Adams Edge
184 Johnathan Calvin Edge
185 Corey Levin G

And later rounds (all skill position):

187 Michael Roberts TE
202 Artavis Scott WR
225 Aaron Jones RB

Someone is paying attention!

Now, go look at my mock.

I'm willing to bet it means a TON. You already detailed the exact scenarios...if we stay at #2...if we take a minor trade-back...our 2nd pick AND if we have an extra pick from a trade-back. And then more targeted need-positions later. I think you nailed it.

You can see, this FO is preparing for 3 main scenarios and based on this, I'd say we're 60/40 on a trade-back but fully prepared to stay put too.

If we stay pat, you're looking at something like this IMHO:

My Pick (First Backup) (Second Backup)

1. First round: Own pick, 2 --- 6 Mitchell Trubisky North Carolina QB (3 Malik Hooker Ohio State S) (2 Solomon Thomas Stanford DE)
2. Second round: Own pick, 34 --- 40 Jordan Willis Kansas St DE (35 Dalvin Cook Florida St RB) (36 Evan Engram Mississippi TE)
3. Third round: Own pick, 66 --- 88 Nathan Peterman Pittsburgh QB (66 Dion Dawkins Temple G) (69 Dan Feeney Indiana G/C)
4. Fourth round: Own pick, 109 --- 112 Brian Allen Utah CB (99 Nico Siragusa San Diego St G) (110 David Sharpe Florida OT/OG)
5. Fourth round: Compensatory, 143 --- 118 Elijah Lee Kansas St LB (123 George Kittle Iowa TE) (142 Jerod Evans Virginia Tech QB)
6. Fifth round: Own pick, 146 --- 144 Josh Malone Tennessee WR (157 Jordan Leggett Clemson TE)
7. Fifth round: From Washington, 161 --- 157 Jordan Leggett Clemson TE (165 Jessamen Dunker Tennessee St G)
8. Sixth round: From Baltimore, 198 --- 180 Keion Adams Western Michigan DE/OLB
9. Sixth round: From Denver, 202 --- 202 Artavis Scott Clemson WR
10. Seventh round: From Cleveland, 219 --- 225 Aaron Jones UTEP RB

Great point AB. You can see above, we haven't shown much interest in TE's until later in the draft.

I keep forgetting about Paulsen. Celek is definitely expendable . Could be a nice compliment, experienced, good blocking TE for someone out there.

Well, would you look at that! Maybe these visits "inform" a little more than I thought. Your mock definitely tracks . So, based on the number of Guards interviewed, up and down the draft rankings (and especially late), it's would seem likely that we grab one. I might need to go digging to see which one of these G's has a good PB grade, and seems suited to OZ scheme.
