how does anyone on a web zone hold a gm accountable in a meaningful way.. you just express your opinion. the media should do thier job and give credit when credit is due in the case of jimmy. and then hold his feet to the fire when things or players you really counted on go south. what is wrong with that. you do not rip the guy totally which i never have and you never pimp the guy totally which has been done a ton on his board in my opinion

Before i even started posting here and just reading the forums, i remember you being more of the positive posters even as far as pimping the Jim Tomsula hire.

Bottom line is Lynch is a human being and human beings make mistakes. Im pretty sure that if information comes out that Foster really did abuse his girlfriend, he'll get rid of Foster.

The fact that it hasnt happened yet, could only mean two things..they didnt get all the info they needed yet and its still an on going investigation or they did get all the info and its not as bad as everyone is making it out to be hence why he hasnt been cut. Until then you just have to wait and see bc right now you all are just guessing and convicting someone when its not warranted yet.

The one thing i can say tho is that this team and organization is in far better hands then when Jim Tomsula and Trent 'torn acl' Baalke were running this team.

Well, how about you all stop bytching at each other and stick on the subject? I do agree though that the constant search for a downside to every situation does get irritating.

I was sticking to the subject "john lynch" but others decided to come at me personally. I can tolerate differing opinions unlike many others here.

If you think youre the only one thats upset about this whole Foster mess, then youre mistaken. A lot of us are pissed and embarrassed, but at the end of the day, you just cant convict someone bc youre all upset. We dont dont know what the hell went on and
if Foster did beat her, then yeah his a** needs to go.

As far as Lynch is concerned, he was dealt a team full of scrubs and nobody's and is tasked to rebuild from top to bottom. I say he did a great job his first year and yes he will make mistakes along the way.

I don't rip or praise him totally because I realize that he's not psychic, and I don't put everything that happens 100% on him, regardless of whether or not he has the final say. The only person that can hold him accountable in any real way is his boss.

Why does it matter so much to you what everyone on this board is saying about him? You have your concerns and your opinions just like everyone else. From reading what you post it seems like you think everyone should be obligated to crucify Lynch for picking Foster, which seems a lot like results oriented thinking when the result is far from certain.

Be smart Lynch. Cut ties right away if The Law finds Foster guilty. If he's not found guilty, then suspend him for 8 games before the league does. Most likely, he will f**k up during those 8 months and not having him around will have taken care of itself by then.

We have something to talk about in the offseason. Otherwise it's just "so glad Jimmy is on the team". Those posts got boring fast. Especially when there was never any doubt he wasn't going to be on the team.
