I'm assuming you're talking about people being pissed initially about hiring Lynch? Well, when an owner with a history of incompetence hires a GM who's never worked in a front office before in any official capacity, what do you expect?
Now, at this point I'm very happy with the way things have gone and with the FO and coaching staff that's been assembled. But, I was pretty skeptical (and rightfully so considering Jed's track record) when Lynch was hired.

uhhhh, yeah. No question. In context and at that time, there were many more qualified candidates we could have hired with good pedigrees. This had the feel of nothing more than a PR move pulling a guy out of TV.
But it may turn out to be a terrific and partnership.

Okay, were yall like literally pissed or were in a scared and disappointed mind state due to the gray area of a new gm. Woe,totally had a brain fart on how to spell gray. I was like they both seem right and they are lol.
I need to get my butt back in school.

Lynch is somewhat of an outside the box hire. Ozzie, Millen, Elway are just a few ex-player GM. His lack of experience is a concern initially. But he seemed to hire enough guys to help him out.
They don't have to all come from scouting side of football. That 's passé. There should be more ex-player GM.

Some people just have it. Gore was known to have an eye for talent. I think lynch is really smart in that he knows what he needs (great HC) and what he's lacking (peters, mayhew, etc)
I hope peters stays to run the ship and lynch be the president.

This is how I hope it plays out as well. Peters LOVES the 49ers. Like one of us type diehard before getting into the league. I can't imagine anyone better for the job honestly and each candidates strong suites seem to line up with that possible outcome.

Lynch has had a few good months; he needs to sustain that for a few good years and draft a few good men.

Law of averages says he will also have a few cock-ups along the way.
Reckon the 'zoners will have many a cutting remark when that occurs

That's the score on the floor with the law outside the door.
Funny seems you didn't ignore me in your last post. But you claimed that you did.
I am just giving positivity about my 9ers and the next season.
John John Lynch has proven himself astute in his first draft period. Lets give him some more time and lets hope he continues to make smart decisions.

I was so pissed when we hired him but now I have a man crush on him
LOL, I was so pissed at first I didn't even respond in the first 10 pages (unheard of). LOL
But yeah, once he started HIRING an entire FO and watching him execute, I was pretty stoked. We pretty much just rebuilt our FO the way it used to be back in the glory days and then, got the best X's and O's HC in the game (Walsh/Shanahan) and went back to the WCO and 4-3_under defense. Talk about returning to your roots!?
Now let's see if it all pays off...if history repeats itself.
I'd love for that to happen! 2-14 to 6 - 10 to super bowl!!!
