to that. I've read reports from camp that the 3rd string team was doing a lot better than the first or second. I believe CJ is on that 3rd string team.
I think that's a sign things on CJ's side is progressing. Not that it's an indicator of anything - but that's better than *not* hearing nothing about the 3rd string team.
I know Taylor has put it out there he's trying to be best buds with CJ. BJ Johnson is also looking like a guy trying to make the team, Smelter was looking good too. Watch out for our ol boy who looks like he finally learned to run some routes and has a real shot at making the team cause we need size.
You weren't kidding, that De Andre Smelter is a *big* dude. I'm looking forward to seeing him in action. Might be big enough to play multiple positions, not just Wide Receiver. Maybe 3rd down back, besides Carlos in the backfield? Maybe a blocking H-Back/TE? With that size, why not play him in a 3 tight end formation? Man Pre-season can't come soon enough.
