Cleveland GMs laughing at this noob.

you s**t on everything....i don't care for the pick either but why even discuss it with you, it wouldn't matter what they did you would find a problem with it,

Are you kidding me? This pick screams of Baalke's patented, "I'm smarter than all the scouts out there...." pick.

Last year it was Rashard Robinson over Dak.
a lot of franchises ignored Dak. Robinson showed his value already.
If you pick an example to destroy Baalke, it should be a better one.

You realize if Dak showed even a quarter of his potential on this team last season Baalke would still have his job, right? And you think that pick wasn't essential? How's Robinson treating Baalke employment now?

Day 2: OMG Shanahan and Lynch have no clue what they are doing. Fire them now!

WZ gonna WZ.

Day 1 was a disaster. Lynch passed on a guy who'll be a top-10 QB in the league in 3 years.

You must be rich, because not only are you a better QB evaluator than people who do this for a living, but you can also see the future; you should get your own psychic hotline.

I think he meant a top 10 QB in interceptions in the league in 3 years.

Yeah, because Trubisky's interception rate is the 2nd lowest of any 1st-round QB in several years.

In 13 games in the ACC. Impressive.

Total games has nothing to to with the interception RATE.
he brought up more arguments than that.
4 for 4 on drafting players we met with.

Allow me to introduce you to the revolutionary concept of "sample size!"

I was actually happy with Day 2 as well until we traded in to get Beathard. It doesn't ruin the draft or anything dramatic like that, heck #109 and #219 isn't even worth a pick in the top 100. But it's definitely the first head-scratching move they've made, especially with Peterman still there. You can tell they've moved on to the later part of the draft where they're making the low-risk high-reward moves, when they could have squeezed out when more safe pick, like an OL.
shanny likes him for some reason. the guy is smart, maybe he wants him to digest the playbook so he can be another set of eyes for our FQB next year since he'll know the playbook by then

So projecting what he did (low pick rate) from a small sample size is silly, but projecting what he DIDN'T do (throw a lot of picks) based on a small sample size makes sense?

Still a winner

People need to stop being overdramatic.

Looks to me like this is really just Part I of a 2-year draft plan. Simply an extensive rebuild/overhaul, nothing more nothing less.

Yes, they over-drafted Beathard, which was a waste of draft capital, not a good value.
Not a big deal with this one pick, but it's a bad sign that they don't understand that they could have picked a good WR, RB, TE or pass rusher at #109 and picked Beathard late 4th at #143

Hopefully Lynch was just placating Shanahan to keep him happy and won't overdraft too many other picks
In Lynch we trust.
