i could see Morris taking the GB job, if it becomes available. He obviously won't go back to the TB job. Bengals might open, but I don't think it's likely, but I'd expect him to take that cause of burrow.
i hope Morris doesn't go anywhere and we have him for a dew
Bengals job might not be a bad gig for Raheem, they have the nucleus for a deadly passing offense locked in for the next few years and a lot of talent on D. Let's see how the Bengals finish the year, the job might not be open.
Personally, if I'm an NFL owner/GM, I'm good on Raheem Morris- he has had his chances and failed. Being a HC and a coordinator/play-caller are two very different jobs, Raheem is an amazing defensive mind, but that doesn't mean his talents are suited to be the face of an organization.
In today's day and age, it's difficult to have a defensive minded head coach unless they have a coordinator who's not going to be a HC - ala BB and now Vrabel.
now Tbf to his ATL stint, I wouldn't say he failed. If you read the story on what happened behind the scenes - he didn't really deserve to be fired, IMO. It was a major overhaul or the entire org for analytics purpose.
I'm hoping that the way the team treats coaches and how much they provide, makes him a skeptic to take openings that have bad/mediocre ownership.
would be great to have a 4 year run with a quality DC. I'm really impressed with the play design/calling that we've seen. I love how the corners/safeties look too. For the first time in a while, it seems like all the positions on defense are growing and developing, instead of just specific positions.
