Since 2019 ShanaLynch has been below 10 wins (10 because that's almost a guarantee of making the playoffs if a team wins ten games) only twice. That's almost 8 years and only two where they didn't make the playoffs. They must be doing something right.

I agree with this, but the amount of early misses in the draft is probably the difference in getting over the hump.

I was at a bar recently and we got to talking and yah, the 49ers just draft very poorly. That is their biggest flaw I think.

Trey Lance, Kinlaw, Trwy Sermon are some examples. They like to think they are getting these gems in later rounds but the picks in the premium rounds have been very suspect!

invest in what? How about the players invest in their own health in recovery on top of what SF provides? Why is Derrick Henry who plays a position you usually fall off a cliff at 30 still killing it? Why is he never getting hurt when RBs around the league do every week? The guy takes care of his body, it's his investment to continue to play/make money.

these players need to be better on their own as well….Collins shows up out of shape and fat what does he think is gonna happen? I'll bet money he showed up at like 350lbs. Shocking his ligament didn't hold up

you can invest in every ice bath, PT, cryo freeze chamber, red light bed…s**t isn't gonna matter if the player doesn't hold himself accountable to be ready for f**king go.

There's no electrical substation at MetLife, yet those f**kers are hurt more than anyone.

I mean, going off of AGL (Adjusted Games Lost), we've had roughly 35% more games lost by starters than the league average over the last 12 years, almost 100 more games than the 2nd place team, and close to double the amount of games as the Rams. That seems pretty significant.

Is AGL the only way to measure injuries? No, obviously not, but it's a well thought out measurement and as good as any. It's unlikely we're not near the top using any method. Pretending that every team has the same level of injuries or that this problem hasn't been around for over a decade just doesn't make sense to me.

Not off to a great start for the 2026 season. This sucks, I'm so tired of it.

Well, that's the difference between a Legion of Boom superbowl defense vs the 2012 49er team. Seattle had better drafts than the 49ers in those days, and that's the difference between KC and San Francisco - KC also had better drafts. But we're talking Superbowl winner vs Superbowl runner up.

Shanalynch has done better than 90% of the NFL in getting talent. Fans are saying fire ShanaLynch becuase they couldn't do better than 100%. In my book, you make the playoffs every year - you have a chance every year of making it all the way. All you need is a chance. 49ers in 1988 - all they needed was a chance and they brought home a 🏆.

As this team showed yesterday, having their playmakers on D healthy gives this unit the opportunity to be special vs. any team. Now, really hoping they can add a good run-stopper in the middle of the line that can make an impact in helping stop those runs up the gut. Especially with the loss of Collins.

Halton and Osa looked good yesterday - West not as good. They need help (plus Halton is a rookie learning the NFL ropes). Hoping they add a proven run-stopper in the middle to provide quality depth over a long season to consistently stop the run. Gotta stop the run.

This low-key means something, IMHO.

Lynch's seat might be a little warmer than the media thinks. Those shaky drafts, lucrative contracts and pretty much all trades besides CMC/Trent are really starting to add up. Have to think we would have a ring by now if we just managed our assets at least a tiny bit better.
