Just sign Laken at this point. He's gonna offer more than a middling backup guy some team wants to trade.

We are trying to "get younger"

And Laken blows. He hadn't been good for a while.

I wouldn't hate Zeitler for a cheap deal. I just don't even know who they would trade for at this point, that's worth trading for
Get Zeitler, Daniel's or Brunskill haha 🤣
Glad people on this forum and media are calling for him to be fired. Absolutely atrocious in the first three rounds for almost 10 years with the team. To be fair Shanahan deserves A LOT of the blame (Trey Lance was his idea). Poach someone from Eagles front office maybe assistant GM and give him full control. Tell Kyle he can't make picks and GM can overrule him with all personnel decisions including contract extensions (avoid another Aiyuk situation).
It's a mystery how we've been consistently good the past 10 years despite having a "crappy" head coach, gm, etc

if by "media" you mean influencers ..yeah ok.
Fans on the zone have been calling for him to be fired for years.

His contract is going to expire. not sure what happens after that.

to be fair, Kyle is an amazing football coach. I just dont think he's a great personnel person. lol developing football players and identifying talent are two different things.

I think it's odd that we do really well in the back half of the draft and UDFA but are terrible in the first three rounds. clearly we are listening to different people in those situations and the data kinda proves that - 10 years of data. I love having kyle and john, but i want them to shake things up with how they choose players early on. I really like Strib this year.
I think he is gone after this year. We're due for a down year. We only did good last year because of strength of schedule

Exactly man. People really underestimate how the weak strength of schedule helped. Played the NFC South, AFC South, Giants, and Browns.

We had the 16th hardest strength of schedule last year. What are you talking about?

The Seahawks had an easier schedule than we did.

was that before or after the season?

it's so funny to see people tell each other how smart they are when talking about SOS last year. we had a super easy schedule entering the year but the way the dominos played out - we had a mid schedule. It was exceptional coaching and grit by the players that kept us in it.

Whole NFL was demolished by injuries last year besides the seahawks and rams. lol
The offensive players picked in the last 9 years haven't been up to par. Gonna blame Lynch or the offensive guru? Lynch would be the one to take the fall as the defensive picks overall haven't been that good either.

You are quoting incorrect information/2025 preseason prediction/sos.

I love Lott, but can we just stop hiring hall of fame players to be GM? Didn't work for Michael Jordan. Lynch will probably be gone soon. Let's just get a math nerd next time or try something else.

I mean people just need to think logically. How could we have possibly had the easiest strength of schedule when we made the playoffs but finished 3rd in our division? Lol
