I hate to say it, but the Rams are turning into the NFL version of the Dodgers and it sickens me. At least there's a salary cap in the NFL. But to see them consistently acquire the top talent in the league is so disheartening.
What's more disheartening - maddening in fact - is that we're doing very little to keep pace with those in our division. I'm starting to believe that we've become the CowboysIt seems that we're more concerned with sustained competitiveness than actually winning.
So sustained competitiveness isn't winning? Lol

If you think Kyle didn't have influence on trading for Trent and CMC then I don't know what to tell you. I'm not giving him sole credit either but even by your own "proof" of Lynch looking at Mahomes he ultimately didn't override Kyle then but did for Garoppolo fumbling several top end draft picks in the process. While there are accounts of Mike and Kyle finding Purdy and even saying he was the best QB they had to Jed's face during Treys year and Garoppolo still on the team.
Also looked it up and what do you know…
2020 Trade: After sitting out the 2019 season in Washington, Williams specifically desired a fresh start in an elite scheme. The 49ers were his preferred destination, reuniting him with head coach Kyle Shanahan, who was his offensive coordinator in Washington
This is what's called a bad faith argument.
How? You boasted on how good Lynch is trading but all the evidence/proof I've shown says otherwise. You can give Lynch 100% credit for CMC and it still wouldn't out weigh the negative. I don't hate Lynch but I disagree with your position on him making great trades

I'm sure the reaction here would be just as negative from the same people if we had made this trade yesterday. They'd be mad that we traded multiple 1st round picks plus some 2 or 3s and at least one of Bosa/Warner/Mykel/Purdy for a 30 year old DE.

He's past his 30th birthday. If it was common for a DE's prime to carry into their 30s, you'd likely see more of them win DPoY past their 30th birthday, but that has been historically very uncommon.
And more than half of those 23 sacks came in just 4 games against either bottom tier or backup tackles. Still impressive, I guess, but more of a fluke than anything.
I'm sure everyone was saying Lynch should be fired after the Parsons trade last year too. Everyone thought that the Packers were going to cruise to a Super Bowl victory. Then they finished with a worse record than they had the prior season and Parsons contributed nothing after his ACL tear.

How? I never once said Kyle had no influence, so you are moving goal posts in addition arguing in bad faith. Nor didi "boast" about his trades, YOU brought up boasting, I simply said what about his good trades, if we are going to bring up his bad trades . Again, another had faith argument . You provided bad trades, and I provided good trades. You then proceeded to have a caveat for every good trade as to why he really shouldn't get credit for it, only the bad trades; more bad faith nonsense lol.

The Browns aren't taking Bosa & those picks for Garrett. For those 'fans' that think Lynch should have traded for Garrett, please give me the trade pieces.

Nope, not SB's. There's a difference between sustained competitiveness and winning SB's.

You said "What about his great trades?" and I said "I wouldn't boast about his trades" you said I was making things up when I said the trades for TW and CMC were likely heavily influenced by Kyle. I looked into it TW wanted to come here heavily due to the familiarity and perfect scheme fit with Kyle. CMC Lynch pushed for while Kyle was iffy and Jed ultimately sided with Lynch. All while conveniently skipping over all the bad trades I pointed out made by Lynch calling my evidence/proof "bad faithed"
I see what you're saying if you talk about the bad let's mention the good but that point is pretty much moot in comparison to his bad ones. It's like with Moody he nails a 63 yard field goal to win the game but goes and misses left and right including in the superbowl.
