Rams know once Stafford hangs it up they have all that money freed up. They have almost no major contracts at this point. By the time Garrett's deal blows up to his big $ Stafford will likely be off the books. They will be dishing out huge deals shortly. Puka, Young, Turner. So as much as Snead wants to F them picks, the reason they're in this position is because of them picks.

If the 49ers get back to hitting their picks they'll be back in that SB hunt.
