Les Snead is showing up John Lynch as a GM. I mean, we have all kinds of cap excuses as to why we can't make big signings, yet the Rams continue to make big signings year after year. People keep saying that they will have to "pay the piper". Well Les Snead must be bribing the piper to not collect his depth.

Yup, and their big price was one 5-12 season. Oh, the horror! It's not like we've avoided terrible seasons by playing money ball.

That's what having Matt Stafford grants you. We havent' seen Sean McVay have any success without a #1 overall pick playing QB for him. Obviously great if you have that. We'll see how long Matt can play at a high level and whether Simpson can play anywhere close to that.

What does it matter? Les Snead will just pull off another trade to get a top QB like Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, or Josh Allen until Simpson is ready.

My god, why don't you just erect a statue of him already.

Yep exactly, rams seem to always pull the right moves off when need to and lynch always a step behind, luckily his last year

The draft was critical this year. Since we don't make splash trades or attack FA like the Rams and Hawks, we needed a HR in order to supplement and replenish our aging stars. And I don't believe we did that.

I think it's time to bring in a more experienced GM that can take over player acquisition and team building aspect, and let Kyle just focus on player development and game planning.

We are most likely finishing 3rd in our division again, traveling all of the playoffs (if we're lucky enough to make it) and another year wasted
Year for our aging stars.

If/when that happens it's time to reset this team. keep Kyle and fire Lynch. Trade our few star players except for Warner and Kittle and do a real rebuild. We can't keep staying status quo. either shoot for the stars like the Rams or blowing this b***h up.

I think it's time to bring in a more experienced GM that can take over player acquisition and team building aspect . . .
Kyle will never allow for this.

. . . blowing this b***h up.
I think that's gonna happen sooner than what people think.

A "step behind"? How about a mile behind. And I'm not so sure this is his last year. Lynch serves at the pleasure of Shanny.

I don't think Jed would just fire Lynch without Kyles input as all of this leads to Jed telling Kyle he is losing power on the personnel side imo, which I have no clue how Kyle would handle. Lynch was not extended and I think this is his contract year so that's already telling. That all makes me think next offseason they will sit and changes will be made if warranted.

Agree 💯 %, and Sean nearly retired. If the rams screw this up, it could be Sean's last days as a Rams coach.

Exactly. Folks think that Stafford retiring will be the end of the Rams.

All they're gonna do is trade for another star QB lol

They aren't afraid to make their own luck, instead of waiting for the stars to line up for them, like we did with Trent and CMC

And that will most likely be the downfall of Kyle with the Niners. He'll end up getting fired. Learn from his mistake with another team and finally win a chip.

Agree, your post reminds me of Fat Andy.
Lynch catching way too much heat for Garrett going to the Rams. I still blame Kaepernick for week 17 in 2016 vs the f**king Rams. Played the long game well Rams very well.
Jesse Bates...Lynch should be trying to get him from ATL, for many reasons discussed on here ive seen. This wouldn't be same level as a Garrett trade, but it certainly would send a message to the team. We'd probably get him for a mid round pick too.

Yeah I think we could pry him away from them cause they got Watts and Bowman.

I'd settle trading for Watts too if they don't wanna give us Bates

Lynch still would've taken Thomas. The bond was sealed from footsies in class together
some one wants to compete with seattle, and it aint us.

Not sure why lynch is being made the fall guy. There's no way we could pay 2 edges 75M. And we can't unload bosa until he takes some snaps to prove he's still the same 8 sack a year guy he was before the injury. So no trade possible. Can't blame lynch for that.
