They still could play, it's not just the name they made plays last season except for Simmons and Diggs of course. But Smith is older than both of them and still made plays. But I know Matt Maiocco isn't click bait but that video was especially when he used Joey Bosa rumors as part of the title then goes on to say what many of us could've said.

but we need one of the two with Mykel starting the year on PUP, and Keion recovering from a gunshot wound

Great point on injuries - even occurring in the offseason! I'd love for the Bosa brothers to be on the team. Reminds me of the Farnhorst brothers being on the same team back during the dynasty years.

I really hope we can stay healthy this year. A lot of key guys are aging. I think juice has been awesome but him, Kittle, CMC, Warner etc are getting older.

i want this group to get one so bad. It'll feel like the harbaugh teams otherwise. Those boys deserved one :/

I've found it interesting that his name hasn't been mentioned much at all. He's older but I think would be an awesome pick up. Especially from a leadership standpoint

Personally, I think they have to use the injury bug to their advantage. Just like how injuries uncovered Brock Purdy, after Trey and Jimmy got injured. They've tried all kinds of bug sprays to eradicate the injury bug, but I think it's using the force to protect itself. Might as well use it to uncover talent. Easier said than done, of course. That means stacking young talent behind old talent - which means finding more talent in the draft and undrafted free agency. I like how they traded down this year, and got more talent and more bodies in the middle rounds. They should do that more often every draft if it makes sense due to draft class, draft depth, and draft position.

AGREE - CJ would be a great addition.. this is how we won all those Super Bowls... we would always pick up a veteran that keeps the young guys in check and lead the way on how to be great !!

But... we still should sign " Something For " JOEY !!!
