Dude, expect 25--35% of guys entering the draft going forward to be 24/25 due to the NIL and guys staying in college for 5-6 years for the $$$.

Its the high school re-class culture.

A 25 year old rookie who spent 6 years in college, graduated high school at 19 years old.

I was still 17 when I graduated from high school.

Once again, the Raiders drafted a 20 year old CB (McCoy). This will not be the norm as it will cost the player NFL money down the road.

The point of the trade is that this draft class is one of the worst in a decade and it's better to stock up on picks for next year.

So we want more late round picks in this weak draft?

Everything from 115 to the end of this draft is the same level of garbage

It has been talked about NON STOP since the draft cycle began.

So yes...its better to trade back b/c you aren't losing quality. The 27 pick is a great add

The talent drop off has already happened. There really isn't much of difference between 133 to 154 and they had an opportunity to pick up an extra pick next year in a much better draft.
this needs to be his last season here.

Without a name, we stick with Lynch.

Could be worse, I could be the GM and we would have 10 QB's and 14 CB's.
I find it funny how the TV guys talk up every late round selction to the point you wonder why they weren't selected earlier. I realize they can't say this guy isn't very good so he fell to the 5th round in a weak draft but it's still kind of funny.

This years draft for the Niners has netted zero players that I'm excited about. Lot's of question marks and projections for most of the picks by all the teams. That doesn't mean a couple won't turn out to be good players but the trade for a 6th next season might be the best move of this draft. One good thing is the Seahawks and Rams aren't nailing it in this draft either. Limited and questionable picks by the Rams.

I like the D-line picks in the context of what we already have on D-line. For. the first time in a very long time, we will have more than Nick Bosa that should be able to get after the QB.
