I mean they are two different things

tipping your hand would be telling teams what players or positions you like because teams will jump you and take what some may believe is your guy telling teams you are open to trade back would let teams know that they can trade up with you so would open communications

I remember being so excited going to bed that night lol. In hindsight the only good thing that came from that was the Bears future 3rd that we used to draft Warner.

You weren't the only person tht felt good about that draft initially. Who knew that Foster would self destruct and Thomas would fail to find a good position. He was just too much of a tweener.

There's already a rumor on Reddit that we could trade our 1st for Brian Thomas Jr lol. I don't see anything really backing it up though.

Anything can indeed happen. Ditka's trade, though, was the single dumbest thing ever!

The draft is a lot different now with players staying in college longer because of NIL. The talent pool from one year to the next can vary a lort if enough border line players stay an extra year. That weakens the current draft and may strengthen the next one.

I think it was still Scotty M drafting for us at that time. He took his job seriously and maybe drank a little too much, But deserves a lot of credit for drafting solid teams out of cap hell.

Scotty Mac liked to tip a few but I thought his drafts were easily as good as JohnnyL...

Was he intoxicated at work? I don't understand why he had to go... what a man does at home is his own biz
