Curious to see what direction they go in draft. Quite a few guys I'd be pleased with . FA at least offered some flexibility, but BPA all the way

It is going to be interesting as a result of the FA activity. I think that an edge rusher right now is the priority but if we pick up Joey Bosa, for example, it could be simply BPA each pick. And I don't ever recall us doing that!

Exactly. Should be fun. If the can couple this outstanding FA period with a home run draft, they will be cooking. Also expect some jumps from last 2 draft classes

Must be hard to draft D-Line/O-line? I would look at what metric the Seahawks and Eagles are using as they seemed to be able to draft the trenches well.
Yeah I don't think they have a good eye for DL talent.

They have enough positions that need to be upgraded that it doesn't matter which order they chose to fill them. Just get players that aren't coming off an injury that can contribute. Hopefully the 1st and 2nd round picks can start. Wd all pretty much know what they need. It's just a matter of who's there when they're picks come up.

Apparently Epenesa was signed by the Browns yesterday for "up to $5 million."
Clowney, Jordan and Joey are all still on the market.

Epenesa would have been a nice piece. Think Niners are waiting to resolve the Trent Williams situation before signing Joey.

I think they're just playing the negotiation game with the FAs than waiting for Trent

There are several quality players still left. May not be full time starters but quality role players that can start if need Be.
weird FA period this year, usually a lot of money is thrown around and tons of guys fly off the market. Kinda nice to see some calmness with these contracts cause it just makes filling out rosters more difficult. It seems like this year it's more
financially feasible to get a handful of quality guys. Just my opinion

We're 2nd worst in NFL for drafting OLine.

Maybe they're waiting for an excellent Left OT to become available in FA and then repeat what they did w/Trent?

Osa Odighizuwa trade shores up that unit, you have concerns with West leading the unit and Collins as #2, but shuffle them down one and it's a huge positive. They also get to learn from him.
I'm happy with the depth pieces added on the line, but still need a starter in the interior. Pretty sure Trent will sign just after OTA's or the conditioning week of TC! He's earned that if he wants to.
I think Safety needs addressing, but you can't fix everything, there looks like there will be options in the first two rounds to help that unit.
Tonges signing was solid to back up Kittle.
I think we should just go Best players available in the draft given that most of the talent on the roster is ageing. However shoe horning a Safety and/or Guard/Center isn't the worst idea for this year's challenge.
I'm only sad about that trade because it likely means we won't be drafting Landon Robinson and a couple of other DTs I had a crush on in this class given when our picks are, how many we have and the needs we still have. Still some hope if they are there in the 4th round 🤞
The team really helped themselves but as usual we're top heavy. Still need good young depth and guys who can replace players when they're out or aging out. I'd be surprised if we stick with all the picks we have and my bet is we move back at least once if not multiple times.
Would like us to bring in edge help and maybe more competition for LG(not sure we have a true starter to rely on right now there)

Patriots being No.1 there and their oline being absolutely destroyed in the Super Bowl is funny.
