I don't think Bosas (if Joey is acquired) would be regular bookends necessarily, they would sometimes. But they could rotate in & out for each other quite a bit.

We missed. Williams is a very meh player.
he was one of the most double teamed players in the nfl last year as a really young rookie as we have more talent around him that will free him up

This. When Bosa went down the pass rush suffered, but we were still hanging in there. Especially the Run -d. The moment his kid went down the defense fell off a cliff. Nevermind Warner.

It sucks that John Lynch doesn't value Safety too much to take one in the 1st or 2nd round. Just think how good this defense would've been had it drafted Cooper DeJean? He's got more passes defended than all three of the 9ers starting Safeties.

I don't think Lynch doesn't value safeties. After all he played that position. Maybe between him and Kyle they just felt other positions were a higher priority. I'm not sure how good the 49ers DB coaches are either. Maybe it's the way they're asking these guys to play.

This is a pretty good class to have a need at safety. I would've liked a vet addition but right now I look at the available safeties and I can't see anyone who is a must have.
