Teams must be under the salary cap by the start of the new league year at 1 pm PT today. Dallas is currently $3.3 million over the cap, so there is incentive for them to offload the $16.75 million due to Osa Odighizuwa

I would take him. He's consistently been one of the better pass rushing 3Ts in football. Of course they could just draft Landon Robinson too.

Robinson is my favorite player in this draft easily, followed by Logan Jones. What round for Robinson?

Same. I'm cool with getting Bosa for cheaper and shorter term

32 teams showed up at the Navy Pro Day for the first time ever. My guess is that NFL teams are higher on him than the draftnik crowd. Maybe a 3rd rounder? Mid to late 3rd rounder?

Ravens had every right to back out of the trade. In reality every player or team can back out of signings before the first official day of the new league year. I don't fault the Ravens at all.
It was a very trashy move. A lot FO execs around the league have said the same thing and players/coaches.
It wasn't a secret that he's recovering from surgery, Ravens knew that damn well.

Same! I am always eyeing centers and Jones looks great to me. He very well could be there in the 3rd, end of third. I do think Robinson will go late 2 early 3.

You say trashy. I say smart. Why would you keep a player after your examination left doubts about his availability. Fans would have been ripping the team all year if he struggled to get back on the field after giving up 2 first round picks.

Meh it was a business move. They knew they could lock in Hendrickson so they moved on it. And if I were a Ravens fan I would've been happy about it. My team keeps the two 1st round picks and still gets a premier pass rusher. If this was the 9ers we would all be backing this move up.

It had everything to with them signing a comparable player in their opinion without giving up draft compensation and nothing to do with Crosbys availability going forward.

Yes, it is the smart move. Clearly signing Hendrickson and saving 2 first rounders is clearly the smarter option. Which is why people justifiably think the Ravens backed out of the trade for non medical reasons, since they already knew Crosby was coming off surgery. What Ravens did was smart and allowed. But backing out of an agreement like this is very frowned upon by NFL teams. There are certain things that are non written rules for the NFL and this is one of them. Especially when the timing of doing so screws over a team as badly as this did the Raiders.
