man we really were dysfunctional back then i cant beleive people criticize our current coaching with what we had in past

Fantastic signing he was on top of my wish list.

We got a true #1 i didnt think we would be interested. This really opens up the draft. Evans and Persall will will be a great duo we could use an upgrade at the slot position now

What's odd is how he fits this offense. He's traditionally had a big armed QB throwing him the ball deep...Purdy isn't that. At least Kyle doesn't have to spend 3-4 years developing him like he's had to with young guys here.

You act like Purdy is noodle armed. His deep ball is above average

Purdy and Mayfield are about the same only Mayfield has the better deep ball. IMO

Mayfield has one of the strongest arms in the league. His velocity numbers at his combine were near Kermits. It's one of the reasons why he was selected #1 overall in his draft and not Mr. Irrelevant.

Combine Numbers...

Brock Purdy Iowa State 52 (Left) 51 (Right)
Baker Mayfield Oklahoma 59 (Left) 60 (Right)

And those numbers are before he had Tommy John Surgery. He's an accurate QB but velocity is not his forte.

Post combine, Purdy adjusted his mechanics and threw 55.5.

Also, it was a full TJ reconstruction. His surgery is the type people come back and often throw harder. Last year, Purdy's arm looked plenty strong. His deep ball is a pretty one and he's thrown a whole lot of them since he began his career here. Just hasn't had a lot of guys to consistently throw deep to.

That dumbass is the other side of the Grant coin lol

He had a video where the title or thumbnail said "FA news 49ers get 2 all pros" and he meant bosa and warner coming back from injuries lol

haha, he is insufferable.

The fact is most teams don't drop back and throw 40+ yards very often. Those are usually desperation passes or broken plays. Teams rely on ball control and YAC more than the bomb. Purdy can't mke some of the throws that Mahomes and Allen can but in Kyle's offense he dosesn't need to. My only issue with Brock is when he does throw deep he sometimes puts too much air under the ball and the defender can have time to recover. The receiver often has to slow up and wit for the ball.

i am not worried about Purdy arm talent at all there are some stuff it isnt even worth responding to plus Purdy strength is processing yes i agree Baker has more talent but Evans and Pearsall both can attack all levels of the fields this will be a fun watch best receiving corpse since Deebo Aiyuk and JJ where we put up 30 ppg every week and i still think we do something in draft and have some young talent (Watkins Cowing) that havent seen the field yet
Please figure out a trade for JPJ now that the Raiders got Linderbaum

Not according to Foerster we don't.

I'd even be happy if they got rid of Brendel and started Matt Hennessey. Hennessey looked like a mauler in the run game.

Cucks lose Walker. We gain an Evans. Offenses are about even. I really wasnt concerned with the O as much anyway. We need a big D move
Get Bosa, CB and Safety.

Then resolve this Trent drama.
