Why would Kittle have not mattered when it comes to getting 1st downs vs kicking FGs that our kicker missed/got blocked. They had two punts that whole game.

Jesus man do you think we're just gonna be status quo going into week 1 of 2026?

You're the one tossing around dumb propaganda because you think you're a better GM or some s**t lol.

the facts are they won with a healthy roster. We had a vastly different team at the end of the year and not in a good way. Pretending that's an excuse because you don't like that perspective , doesn't make it not true.

Yes, I actually do think we will be status quo.

I want them to spend money but it's not happening. York won't let these guys spend money.

Doesn't surprise me in the least bit. All of this comes from the top. The Niners are close to being America's Team and the money is flowing in. The York's are fat, happy and content. To them, the Niners are a cash cow. They don't have the desire or motivation to compete with the Rams or the Hawks.

The York's certainly don't anticipate and they barely react to the ebbs and flows of the league. They'd much rather toss the car keys to Kyle, Jed and Paraag and let them figure it out. So as a result, we'll be lucky to get ONE new starter in FA let alone a Xmas day type of haul. I think the York's are still playing with 2022 salaries and refuse to spend after getting burned handing out fat salaries in the past that netted slim results.

One the draft side, again we shouldn't expect much change. York and Lynch will cont to reach and the draft will garner a C- by draft pundits.

I wish I was more optimistic but I think we are looking at .500 football. I just wished the organization swung for the fences!!! If we strike out, that's ok. I'd be much happier if at least we tried….but I don't see it this year :(

You're separating Jed from his parents when he's the principal owner?

Yeah because those guys didn't spend $250M last off season

WoW!! That would be excellent. I see alot of chatter that in fact Denver will move on from Greenlaw due to cap reasons.

Max in red and gold. NAWICE!
They have so many free agents that they have no choice but to be pretty active.

Tim's on crack. The only think he has right is we will probably bring back Pinero. And maybe trade Mac.

There's no way this front office makes that many moves. If anything it will be a few B level backup type depth players and they will try to outsmart everyone else in the draft and reach on a few guys passing on star players. It's what they do.

Late response my bad. But the problem I have with your argument is that you think you have it mapped out like they won't get better or are gonna have all this trouble keeping their important free agents. There maybe other suitors who drive up the price but ultimately they should stick around for another run. Regardless of what Darnold and JSN are asking, Seattle has time to get things done with those two, nothing has to be done this season or next. And there's always ways to manipulate the salary cap, you ask me why I argue this with you.

49ers will get better and so will the two team a above us. Not sure why that's hard to believe or why you keep looking past this upcoming season. This has been my argument the whole time my guy. How much better can the 9ers get remains to be seen on how aggressive and creative they get with this roster.

As for the Rams, they're always playing possum. Stafford acts like he's gonna retire then next thing you know he's winning the MVP. lol

I'm not saying Snead will just go out and get another Stafford, I'm saying I wouldn't be surprised if they went out and got another QB they could just plug n play. Snead has shown that he can make the right moves, Schneider too.

Yeah, I'm not saying they're gonna magically suck or they can't "get better" but all that freed up cap space (that you keep alluding to) is pretty much committed to their own (if they want to keep this current roster). With all those top 50 picks can come big contracts, if they hit. Toss in a SB win and it raises it even more. It's the truth of the situation.

And yes Sam will want a massive raise in a yr. He's grossly underpaid as a SB winning QB. JSN is already saying he wants to be the highest paid WR this offseason. He along with Spoon aren't gonna step on the field without a deal, why would they? Again it's not just about the cap it's about the REAL CASH that has to be given out at the signing. That matters and there's only so much real money Seattle is willing to shell out all at once.

Stafford is old, regardless of whatever. He's gonna command a $45-$50M cap hit every yr with his yr to year playing. Adams is on the last yr of his deal. Puka will be one of the highest paid WRs. They need to get a RT and pay their LG. On defense they need DBs badly. Turner and Young are in the last yr of their deals and have also grossly outplayed their rookie deals. I'd be shocked if they step on the field as well.

Both their GMs have shown they can draft well and trade for good players…they've also shown they can make stupid trades and drafted horribly all the same. Schneider In particular has almost a decade straight of some of the worst drafts.

my whole point is people seem to only look at the good they've done and the bad that we've done. No one bats 100. Seattle is now in the we have it pay our young stars cash mode. SF isn't…they can and will absolutely make some moves this off season.

I feel like you've been agreeing with me this whole time according to your first sentence in this post. But, I gotta disagree that you think all of their cap space is committed or spoken for. You best believe they'll let some of their own free agents walk and not upgrade or bring in some quality players. 49ers had no problems paying Deebo, Aiyuk and Purdy, they all fit under the cap pretty nicely. My point is, that I think you keep disagreeing with, outside of the 49ers team will protect themselves from their top players regardless of what they want.

Getting back to the Rams and Stafford, sure he's old, but let's not act like the salary cap can't be manipulated and his contract not re-negotiated. Stafford is coming off an MVP year at 38 years old and will be well capable of winning in the next two seasons. There's always something wrong with Stafford and we keep waiting to see him retire, nope what does he do, he comes back and wins the MVP. I do believe they will get another QB in line before Stafford's time is up.

Look I'm not pointing out all the good things the Seahawks and Rams have done and knocking the 9ers down. Lynch has done some really good things, it's just that injuries have gotten in the way of being a dominant team year in and year out. And we can't deny that the Seahawks and Rams have drafted well the last couple of years or so, along with hiring the right people. The NFC West will be tough to capture.

This guy is definitely a Seahawks or Rams fan. All he does is cry and complain about everything. I don't think he said one positive thing ever since he came back on his new account. Troll or searams fan.
