John Lynch - 49ers GM

i know JJ is fustrated but i just dont see them trading him. The last GM got fired because they let Darnold go who was a slightly above average QB i cant imagine the new GM trading literally there only superstar.

I think AJ Brown is tradeable but eagles wont trade us him.
I am surprised to hear Brian Thomas Jr trade talks i know he had a rough second year but his rookie year was amazing i would pull the trigger and take the risk he is a talent and fills a need at the X spot

I also disagree Maxx Crosby isnt a canidate for us i would hardly call the raiders rivals that may have been true at one point but they are in Vegas and not even in our confrence. They will be a lot of suitors and unfortunately we pick at the end of the round so it will be tough to outbid teams.

Mac is better than any QB they will take with that 2nd. He's a young QB on a dirt cheap deal and they have Harrison and McBride there as primary pass catchers

It's Garrett Wilson people. That's your reasonable target. Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase are virtually untouchable, they're both worth QB trade capital. Wilson is much more reasonable because he hasn't had a 1200 yard season yet, had an injured down year in 2025 and doesn't fit the Jets timeline at all.

i dont think that would effect them if they were willing to trade Sauce and Quintin Williams and not trade Wilson i doubt that changes after not getting #1 overall pick

Nowhere — I'm saying at the trade deadline they were 1-7 and had a very real chance of getting the #1 overall pick and a future franchise QB, so they had a fair reason to hold onto Garrett Wilson amidst their fire sale. Now that the season played out they do not have the #1 overall pick.
