Could have made a trade after going into the season with hope and a bunch of rookies. It was just inexcusable after the injuries. He should take the shot on the failures of this D just as much as the coordinators.

Meh what's the point. We're gonna get smashed by the Iggles regardless.

Back then when we got Pearsall, some were scratching their head bc some ppl think in short term only.
Now we got almost nothing at WR. Dear "experts", what would we have done without him this season?
But but but. No but, there is always an injury risk and there are contract talks (back then with BA, last and next off season with JJ and you got salary cap issues like Deebo).

WR is a little different than OT imo. You got two starters and they don't rotate. Sure you can push the rookie inside but at that point you've invested in a OG with high end capital for a couple yrs, kinda kills the value of a rookie deal.

We will see I'm all for BPA at a high impact position…also I will disagree that we don't need another legit EDGE.
Ok, the non existent rotation is a valid point.

You always are in need at pass rush, yes. However, we invested plenty of draft capital there. We need pass pro and run blocking way more than that.

Where are these players that we have invested in that are supposed to help our pass rush?

Injured or still developing. Actually most of the D linemen they drafted were more about stopping the run.

Dude that's so f**king shameful. You can't do s**t like this unless you literally were clamoring for Pearce with pick #11 and you have proof.

I would have picked Pearce. I would rather draft a pass rusher at #11 overall. Than a set the edge run stopper. Who later got injured. But you don't pick that so high with pass rushers who are fast twitch on the board. Look how that would have helped us this year. Pass rush is what we need the most.

The goal heading into the past offseason was to stop the run. So the first few picks were run stuffing Dlineman. It was a good goal. The problem is the defense still failed to stop the run because the rest of the team didn't do a good enough job. So, why is Saleh so sought after as a HC?

Thought you said they should be able to identify head cases and stay away from them?

I can understand Collins but Williams is and will always be a puzzling pick. Almost zero pass rush from him. You could have gotten a run stopping edge at someplace other than 11 where this team needed an immediate player not a project. With that being said there are two things I blame Saleh for. The first is tackling. This team has HORRIBLE tackling from everyone including starters. I don't know if they focus on in practice or what but that is a huge issue. The second is his lack of creativity or even trying to mix something up. Outside of that Saleh has bunch of dudes that simply are backups starting from the DL all the way to the secondary. The team even with Warner & Bosa healthy has just a large starting talent hole.

Pass rush should be equally high on the list.
