Found three imo, only able to keep one.

This regime found 3?

My bad I thought you were talking about Lbs (Warner, Al Sheez, and Greenlaw)

We certainly have whiffed on all safety selections. Surprising given that our GM is a safety

Go look at the safety rankings on PFF, I think there's only 3 1st rd picks in the top 20.

it's simply not a position you use a 1st on unless it's some ridiculous talent or far an away BPA.

Who said they had to take one in 1st? You are talking 3rd or later.

The 9ers haven't shown the ability to consistently land good safeties in the later rounds. Corners either.

People consistently talk about needing a dominant o line to win a ring when the two times we lost in the sb it's because the dbs blew coverages on big plays. Had a pop up pick our safety dropped that likely gets us in a 3rd SB, nevermind the poor coverage in the game to start with.

Seattle sure isn't regretting the Emmanwori pick.

They don't even make it to the SB without that DL in the first place.

SF lost those SBs because of multiple things not just because of DB play. You know that and I know that.

They don't regret Williams or Murphy either. Seattle has had 11 picks in the first 2rds since they traded Wilson (2022). Yeah they can afford to take a safety that early.
Also I'm not saying don't take a safety in the 2nd, I'm saying this team needs other pieces that matter more than safety. Dude is gonna have to be far and away BPA imo.

Why does it have to be either or?

Im not arguing that you dont need a great DL. But id much rather be Seattle defensively than the Rams. Eagles too.

If you get a WR in FA there wont be. Being that Kyle doesn't like playing the young kids anyway that's probably the better route.

I'm saying finding really good pass rushers usually requires higher end picks and $$$$$. Good safety play usually doesn't require higher end picks or tons $$$$$. I'm not saying don't invest at S at all. Just have your priorities straight and what matters more.

Eagles just drafted Mukuba in the second all the same.

Bryan Cook is a FA and player great this yr in KC. P J Locke is probably a FA in Den. Cisco is having a down yr and would be an upgrade. I was a fan of Geno Stone in college. Kamren Curl Is another….all these HC changes will equal cuts and positions like S tend to be the low hanging fruit for cap space.

WR market is 💩 that's a position that'a massively overpriced vs the talent you're getting. I would be shocked if they actually spend legit money on a FA WR. Maybe if they make a trade for a proven young vet. I don't see them spending cash to fix that position group.
You can't draft this bad. It's always reaching, throwing away picks, busts, injured players, no depth. We have got to do better. I don't think we can go on like this. Compare this to the Eagles GM. It's night and day. No comparison at all. It's not even close guys.
Lynch has to go.

1) Offensive line
2) speed at WR and WR overall bc BA is a huge question mark and JJ is a very good number two but not more.

I always welcome another defensive line prospect but that should be limited to late day 2 and FA.

We won't close the gaps through draft only. Yes, they demand way too much but at least there is a market.
Good offensive line you usually get through draft only.

Conclusion: WR through FA, o-line through draft

They certainly should spend on it, and have shown willingness to do so in Deebo and BA's case. Isn't AJ Brown gonna be a FA? I'd definitely be alright spending BA type $ on him.

Jack Stewart is 100% correct. The prevailing thought throughout that game was how putrid the OL is; which in turn speaks of volumes of the makeup of this roster.
