20 mil is plenty to have kept Hufunga, Greenlaw, Collins and Hargrave (assuming the two latter would restructure) and we would still have 40 mil in space next year.

Regardless, not improving the team with a home Super Bowl is in-excusable. The time to go all in was last offseason. If it didn't work we at least made a run to win a Championship at home and could have had a rebuild this coming offseason.

Not how contracts in NFL work.

Dude wants to complain about nothing and conveniently forget the 49ers control their own destiny to #1 seed right now WITHOUT Bosa, Warner and Mykel Williams to go along with all the other key injuries we had this year and Aiyuk going AWOL on us.

Where would this team be if we had the type of health the Rams had? The roster was clearly built to win and I imagine if those heavy hitters weren't done for the season we make a trade at the deadline as well.

Blindly ignoring all that and then pretending every player we let go was worth paying big money or that the team wasn't setup for success with the schedule we had…when we had that success! Is an absurd take to make and to defend with such extremes.

when takes are rooted in ridiculousness, its safe to assume the poster doesn't really watch the games. i mean you think Nick Martin is a bust. that's a hella casual fan take.

How can you say he isn't a bust at this point?

I have a hard time believing he will be on the team next year

Rookie 3rd round pick? The only way he won't be back for a second year is if the health problem develops.

Just like how Trey Sermon, Danny Gray, Tyrion Davis Price and Cameron Latu were brought back for a 2nd year?

I guess TDP made it a game into year two so that counts for something.

When you seem to be the only one making those absurd takes it's a you problem. Not everyone else.

And if you're not a casual then the alternative is you're here to troll.

Your post shows you have absolutely no clue how roster building works or how the salary cap works. And you have absolutely insane expectations and takes that are hard to take seriously. And yet you're adamant you're the correct one in this thread.

You tell me which one is accurate? Casual or troll?

Ah yes, different opinions and not gushing all over the front office means casual or a troll. Again, typical.

Um, your argument is founded on nothing. What happens with other players means nothing. You think the Front Office sit around a table and go, well, we cut that guy last year so I guess we should cut this guy? You don't think they look at his training, his attitude, his general approach and the potential they view him as having? And losing playing time to injury is hardly going to count against him in year one. And the needs of the team at that position are going to be taken into account as well.

All of theme made it back in year 2.

Patrick Mahomes played zero snaps in year 1.

Founded on nothing?? Inactive for the first 7 games and can't get playing time over practice squad players. Yep, tonnes of potential there

But I get it, he is still on the team so we shall not criticize anyone!

I will wait until he isn't a 49er then you can bash him all you want.

Every single one was back. They got moved in training camp or played year 2.

You clearly have no idea how this stuff works. Perhaps go educate yourself.

You are getting tiresome. I don't care if you criticise a player, particularly if he deserves it. The thing with you is, you criticise everyone from the owner downwards. The sort of attitude that real fans of the team have, you know?

Now here is what you have missed with Martin. You think the team are going to cut him because …… well, no reason. Very few players particularly those drafted below the 1st round, break through in the first year. You have no idea what his attitude is like, how his training goes, what his potential is. Neither do I. The difference between you and me is, I think the team will want to see him next summer in training camp and in the pre seasons. You think he is finished because he didn't break through in his first season. But many NFL players take at least one year and often more to break through. Surely you realise that?

He's baiting you. Does that a lot to get you engaged then will give you a timeout for inciting. Best to not engage. The philosophy is if you don't like think positive then you're not a Niner fan and don't belong in this forum.

Nobody is baiting you. I'm literally giving you a warning in a thread so you can avoid getting an official infraction.

This is a 49ers message board. It's made for fans of the team. Doesn't mean fans have to praise all things 49ers but yes the expectation is people who come in saying things that upset the majority of the fans here are backed up by reality and aren't just insane ramblings backed up by nothing.

You have a habit of saying overblown statements and I asked you to provide one example of what you claimed being a reality. You still haven't…so stop saying that or it will be treated like spam or trolling. If you know it's BS. We know it's BS then there is no reason to keep saying it.

His post is all together different. He's offering up his opinion, it's just horrible and when people called him on it he's pretending everyone else are just being homers.

More when you are a bigger fan of the Rams than the 9ers you aren't a 9ers fan.
