Miami would have sent us Jae-Phil because we'd most likely be drafting ahead of the Eagles and our 3rd round would have been at a higher spot..

He would've got injured on the way to SF.

Not even including the dozens of busted picks. This is a top 10 D with just the guys we let leave

DE- Nick Bosa / Charles Omenihu
DT- Deforest Buckner / DJ Jones
DT- Arik Armstead / Maliek Collins
DE- Arden Key / Samson Ebukam

LB- Fred Warner
LB- Azeez Al Shaair

CB- D. Lenoir
CB- Reynardo Green
CB- DJ Reed
SS- Malik Mustapha
FS- Talanoa Hufunga

Instead of keeping these guys they drafted guys like Javon Kinlaw, Drake Jackson, Dee Winters, Nick Martin, Ja'iyr Brown, Upton Stout on so on.

Maybe explain how we could have fitted Bosa, Buckner, Armstead, Warner, Hufuanga under the salary cap?

I'll take a stab, you couldn't, there, that's it, they couldn't afford to have all of those players, no matter what kind of cap maneuvering they would do it would have crippled their cap, but again most fans don't do the research needed before posting BS, nothing personal but saying we could have kept those guys is nonsense, the cap can only hold so much, that right there is 5 $10M+ Defensive players plus Brock, CMC, BA, Trent, Kittle all at $10M+ a yr, not to mention people would still b***h about us not adding more, oh forgot that DJ Reed also makes $10M+ on average, so does Lenoir, so that's 12 players at $10M+ a year, not doable at all, but I'm sure I'll get ppl questioning me.

I also don't see an issue with guys like Winters, also how can anyone say any rookie was a miss right now, it's not been 1 full season and we're calling players bad picks, or bad signings after 1yr, really? Glad these guys aren't the GM, and no way is Lynch getting fired, this is complete nonsense.

Wait, really, you're putting players in either their 1st or 2nd year as misses, really? That makes zero sense, you can't say that, no one knows how good they'll be or won't be, if you think you do then you have serious issues cause no one knows that.

Are we really wanting McGlinchey back, seriously? You realize the 49ers can't/wouldn't be able to afford all those guys you listed, please go back and do proper research on the salary cap before posting pure BS and nonsense, just ridiculous to see how s**tty this fanbase is, and how s**tty this site has become.
I just realized Collins & DJ Jones both at $10m or more a yr so 14 players at $10m or more just isn't feasible nor would Jones or Collins want to be backups, just insane anyone thinks that would work, if they kept Armstead & Buckner they never would have traded for Collins or re-signed DJ.
I hate to keep bringing up the Rams GM...but I can't fathom that this team is going to end up with 2 first round picks including a top 10 pick next year. Penix/London are both hurt now also.

The Rams might end up with like the 4th pick in the draft (along with their own pick).

Rams have really been a more overall successful franchise in the McVay vs KS era.

Their drafts haven't been great though. Take a look at their rd 1-3 picks since 2017. Other than Kupp, Verse, and Turner its been pretty meh. They have also been healthy throughout the years too. If the 49ers were as healthy as them this year we'd be neck and neck.

Rams have been better solely because of Stafford.

Uhh. 80% of those players have started and made an impact.
Highest-graded Cardinals
  • Walter Nolen, DT, 90.3, 23 snaps

How can Lynch mess up the draft and pick the wrong guy every single year??
Rams and Eagles GM's are just superior. It's why they rebuilt there trenches faster and better than we have. We still trying to replace Buckner.

And how many are still on that team? You knock the 49ers for that so you should knock the Rams for that as well huh?

Roseman is superior to Snead.

Dude, they are one of the best drafting teams in the league and they aren't afraid to trade draft picks for veteran stars.

The players they let go were replaced with better players. We let quality players go and replace them with draft busts.

Comparing us to them is apples to oranges. It's not even close.
