I like the kid but whose idea was it to draw a shrimp like Stout to play the slot when you gotta go up against slots like Puca, Kupp, and McBride twice a year?

For a 3rd round pick and if he signs elsewhere Eagles get the 3rd back. And, at $1.5 mil. 9ers 3rd rounder will be better than Eagles.

Not worth a 3rd if he was only going to be a one season rental. Even if they do get a 3rd round comp pick (which isn't guaranteed), it'd be at the end of the 3rd round in 2027.
Digging in is a bad look for y'all.

You might want to go check who this front office has drafted with their 3rd round picks.

2017-- Ahkello Witherspoon; CJ Beathard

2018-- Fred Warner; Tavarius Moore

2019-- Jalen Hurd

2020-- No 3rd

2021-- Trey Sermon; Ambry Thomas

2022-- Tyrion Davis-Price; Danny Gray

2023-- Jake Moody; Cameron Latu

2024-- Dominick Puni

2025-- Nick Martin; Upton Stout

Other than lucking into Warner which is a once in a lifetime stumble. Not very good. Give up the 3rd and get back the compensatory 3rd. Not a good argument. You're saying they'll win the lottery more than once in a lifetime.

I'm still not seeing the benefit of giving away a 3rd rounder for a player that will be here for only 7-8 games in a season we're realistically not competing for a SB.

We all saw the exterior defensive line play this past game.

If you get back a 3rd then it's just trading 3rd rounders.

Most importantly trading a 3rd round pick is not going to bankrupt the draft. Bad picks will. But, it's sends a message to the locker room that management is not mailing in the remainder of the season eventhough the Super Bowl is a real long shot.

I thought the fan base was emphatically against drafting/trading for often injured players ?

Depends which side of the fan base you ask; there's a clear divide lol

Much rather play Chase Lucas in the slot or at Safety than Stout or go another game with Brown.

The caveats are when those players work out we were stupid not to draft or trade for them.

Steelers signed CB Asante Samuel Jr. to their practice squad.

The Asante Samuel tour of America ends early, as he had been threatening to keep it rolling in other towns later this week. Samuel had spinal-fusion surgery after heading to IR early in the 2024 season. A once-promising high second-round pick, he's still only 26 years old. If he can play anything like his old form, the Steelers did well to roster him. The fact that he's signed with the practice squad shows an NFL that is pretty skeptical he'll return to it.

Well Lynch you gonna bring in anyone else or you gonna stick with the crap you're starting every Sunday!!!! f**k!!!!
I have just had enough of lynch. It would be no loss to move him out or do what the government does and promote him out of a position to limit the damage he can do…
He brings nothing to the organization except draft busts and rare interviews.

He's pretty muscular so maybe he's at least a prawn

Rumor Has It

Glynch offered a sandwich and Asante agreed, but he at least wanted a club sammich and not just peanut butter (no jelly)... Glynch wouldn't budge so Asante said F'k it and bounced to Steelers... they gave him a Lobster sammich
