Of course they will say this.

If they say we have no confidence in Bethune then teams can fleece us.

It's all posturing.

I also don't think they'll make a trade for a LB. Honestly they have some young LB's that can step in.

Once again: I really think Fowler and Graziano's sources are outdated and they last spoke with them before Sunday. There is no longer a reasonable reason to trade for Hendrickson without an extension.

I heard the injury report today that he has a problem right now with his hip. I don't know how serious it is but you can bet if he comes to the Niners his leg will fall off.

Your post is both funny and likely true (vis a vis all the available ends are probably trade candidates).

JUST DO IT IF YOU'RE GOING TOO QUIT STALLING!

it takes 2 to tango
and if we're targeting a guy with a large contract (like Trey Hendrickson), then the closer to the deadline the less of a cap hit he is

our next three games are very win-able, even with all the holes we have

Agree that lynch might be stalling to minimize the salary he has to take over.

We'll need to see the results of the next few games to figure out if we add a game changer or flush this turd of a season down the pooper.
The 49ers have been so active during the deadline since 2019, 49er fans think every October is Christmas now.

The moment we trade for him or Jeffrey Simmons, I can assure you, they will lose all their limbs right after they pass the physical and the trade is finalized!
How much longer are we going to let Lynch make terrible decision after terrible decision?

Maliek Collins. Cut. PFF has him as the 2nd ranked DT with an 89.9 rating and he has 4 sacks with 18 pressures.

Javon Hargrave. Cut. 13 pressures, 2 sacks.

Leonard Floyd. Cut, He has 2 sacks and 12 pressures and would have still been a valuable pass rush specialist,

Meanwhile we trot out Jordan Elliot (58.7 rating, 6 pressures, 0 sacks) and Kalia Davis (48.4 rating, 0 pressures, 0 sacks) as starters.

We can't run the ball so we trade Jordan Mason who has 323 yards, 3 TDs and 4.68 YPC and trade for Brian Robinson because he is cheaper.

Deebo gets traded. We lose all our receivers and Deebo has 360 all purpose yards and 4 TDs.

Cutting Hargrave was straight-up the right decision. That's like saying cutting Moody was the wrong decision because he just won a game for the Bears.

I'll give you Floyd though. I was scratching my head when we cut him. He's basically another Huff except we wouldn't have needed to trade for him.

Why not keep Hargrave with a restructured deal? He was still a valuable interior pass rusher.

IIRC, Hargave didn't want a restructured deal with us and wanted to test the open market.

I've never understood why we let Collins walk, he was top 5 pass rushing DT while with us and he wasn't even expensive. I understand we wanted to stop the run, but like we need pass rushers in the middle on obvious passing downs.
