Aiyuk, Kittle, Pearsall and Purdy will be back. Maybe just maybe, the offense will carry this team to a SB this year.

I agree. My old man doesn't have much time left. Trade for Hendrickson and bring back Dre Greenlaw.
You forgot to switch accounts.

Hahaha

I love overreaction Mondays:

THIS IS WHAT THE 49ERS MUST DO!!!
HEART AND SOUL RIPPED FROM 49ERS!!!
49ERS MUST TRADE HALF OF TEAM!!!
DON'T PLAY PURDY EVER AGAIN!!!
CALL OFF NFL SEASON!!!
WHY HASN'T LYNCH TRADED FOR ANYONE YET???
49ERS MUST CUT TIES WITH LYNCH!!!
PLANNING FOR WARNER STATUE UNDERWAY???

I miss the old days when sports headlines stated the following: 49ers linebacker injured, backup to take over.
Fans must come to terms that we are rebuilding and being 4-2 and #1 in the division is a miracle.

HEART AND SOUL RIPPED FROM 49ERS!!! - nothing much we can do as long as Shanny our HC
49ERS MUST TRADE HALF OF TEAM!!! - somehow agree, but those who's got some value (Yuck; Jennings; Mustafah; Ji'Ayir)
DON'T PLAY PURDY EVER AGAIN!!! - somehow agree, Air Mac 10 was not the problem against Tampa Buy, we just did not have a HC that can handle
CALL OFF NFL SEASON!!! - too late, Saints already did that.
WHY HASN'T LYNCH TRADED FOR ANYONE YET??? - Simply because Shanny keeps saying I GOT THIS
49ERS MUST CUT TIES WITH LYNCH!!! - Shanny before Lynch
PLANNING FOR WARNER STATUE UNDERWAY??? - Winters already with the team

I concur with both of you handsome, well-endowed, and completely separate gentlemen.

With team injuries and the way players move around with free agency, teams are almost aways rebuilding. The new trend now is build a team with cheap draft picks and supplement with hign profile rentals. The Niners aren't actually in a full rebuild mode since they're still in playoff contention.

We're in playoff contention despite a rebuild. We lost a lot of players over the last offseason.

I don't see us being in contention for long either. Even though we beat the Rams, they are overall better suited for a run.

Do they still want Aiyuk ?

It sounds bad to eat dead cap but he'll never be elite and paying him $41.4 & $42.3 mil for a couple of years is crazy.

So, yeah.

Pearsal, Robinson, Bourne, Valdes-Scantling, and may Jennings doesn't look too bad in conjunction with Kittle and Tonges.

I'm concerned we haven't seen much on his rehab or when he could even practice. If other teams at least know he's doing well then at least they could kick the tires.
Yes

Kyle right now at the presser just said maybe week 10 but no time frame.

Don't waste draft capital on this trash team. Play the young guys the rest of the way to get ready for next season. Hope Warner and Bosa heal properly

Trash take.

This "trash team" is 4-2 despite all the injuries.

They lost their two best defensive players. They aren't winning a Super Bowl. That's the goal. That's the expectation that has been set with all these high priced players. Start building for the future

Fold at 4-2, while leading the division. Brilliant.

We beat them without QB 1, WR1, WR2, WR3, TE1, and Bosa, but the Rams are better suited for a run. Take all that away from them and what's their record?

We can't afford a full rebuild because of the massive contracts to older star players and the salary cap hits.

I mean you can still win the division and be "rebuilding" Rams did it. SF is literally 3-0 in the division right now.

I think fans need to come to terms and understand there isn't some super star team anywhere this yr.

I would said fans probably view the Bills as a top 2 team right now and couldn't name half the roster.

we drafted a s**t ton of guys the past two yrs and they need to put their big boy pants on and show up. Brock has to play to his contract now. Make a couple moves at the deadline and go win some games.

Other teams will play hardball witht the Niners knowing that they need help with the pass rush. Making a trade when othe rteams know you're desparate is the worst time to do it. I hope Lynch doesn't overpay for a one year guy that doesn't help much. I don't think he will. Rather than doing that I would prefer they just go with the young players they have and see how they progress and if they can rise to the challenge. It will give them a good look at what these guys can do.
I'm not against trades that don't require significant draft capital, but it would be moronic to give away lots of picks for a top notch rental player. Trading for a younger player than we can use for several years might be okay, depending on the specifics.

We can still make the playoffs this year, but this team is not yet built for a SB. We are getting closer and it's nice to see so many young players getting good experience and learning. Let's hope for another strong draft in April 2026.

But to win a SB, you are always going to come up against at least one, but normally several very strong D-Lines, and our O-Line appears unable to run block against those Defenses. If we can't run that well, then chances of winning the SB are very slim, not impossible, but quite unlikely. Also, our pass rush sometimes looks anemic, so it needs a boost next year as well. The newbies Williams, West and Collins are doing fairly well so far though.,....nice to see that.

I still think the arrow is up for this team, and am anxious to see what the team make-up is for 2026.
